Pada suatu ketika, anjing ditugaskan untuk menjaga suatu kebun. Kebun itu penuh buah-buahan yang sedap untuk disantap.
Monyet dan kancil yang merupakan sahabat karib, berusaha untuk mendapatkan buah itu. Monyet karena pandai melompat, berusaha mengalihkan pandangan anjing tanpa ketahuan. Dan kancil yang cerdik, berusaha mengambil buah yang banyak dalam waktu yang sedikit.
Namun ternyata, keadaan malah menjadi kacau.
Monyet karena telat melompat membuat anjing melihatnya dan menggonggong keras sehingga membangunkan pemilik rumah. Dan ternyata, kancil dengan idenya menarik tumpukan buah dengan ember besar malah membuat kebun menjadi sangat berantakan.
Mereka berdua bertengkar hebat dan saling menyalahkan satu sama lain. Si kancil tidak mau disalahkan. Dia pergi meninggalkan monyet. Sementara, monyet pergi ke Owl untuk menanyakan sebenarnya siapa yang salah.
