This study was to evaluate the effect of resveratrol on the pharmacokinetics of ticagrelor in rats and the metabolism of ticagrelor in human CYP3A4 and liver microsomes. Eighteen Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups group A (control group), group B (50mg/kg resveratrol), and group C (150mg/kg resveratrol ). After 30 minutes administration of resveratrol, a single dose of ticagrelor (18mg/kg) was administered orally. The vitro experiment was performed to examine the influence of resveratrol on ticagrelor metabolism in CYP3A4*1, human, and rat liver microsomes. Serial biological samples were assayed by validated UHPLC-MS/MS methods. In vivo study, the AUC and Cmax of ticagrelor in group B and C appeared to be significantly higher than the control group, while Vz/F and CLz/F of ticagrelor in group B and C were significantly decreased. In vitro study, resveratrol exhibited an inhibitory effect on CYP3A4*1, human and rat liver microsomes. The IC50 values of resveratrol were 56.75μM，69.07μM and 14.22μM, respectively. Our results indicated that resveratrol had a inhibitory effect on the metabolism of ticagrelor in vitro and vivo. It should be paid more attention to the clinical combination of resveratrol with ticagrelor and ticagrelor plasma concentration should be monitored to avoid the occurrence of adverse reaction.This article describes the development of the American College Health Association-National College Health Assessment III (ACHA-NCHA III), a widely used comprehensive survey that assesses college students' health behaviors and outcomes at the institutional and national levels. Only the second major revision since the ACHA-NCHA was established in 2000, the ACHA-NCHA III launched in Fall of 2019. Background on the purpose and history of the ACHA-NCHA will first be provided. Then the systematic steps taken to create a new and enhanced version of the survey will be recounted. Virtual surgical planning was used to design the bony reconstruction in 6 cases. Primary outcomes, including flap survival, complications, and return to oral diet, were collected. Cephalometric measurements were obtained to compare preoperative and postoperative mandibular projection and width. All flaps survived without compromise, and no fistulas developed postoperatively. STFFs may be oriented horizontally to reconstruct large anterior mandibular defects with satisfactory results.Heterogeneity emerges when multiple close or conceptual replications on the same subject produce results that vary more than expected from the sampling error. Here we argue that unexplained heterogeneity reflects a lack of coherence between the concepts applied and data observed and therefore a lack of understanding of the subject matter. Typical levels of heterogeneity thus offer a useful but neglected perspective on the levels of understanding achieved in psychological science. Focusing on continuous outcome variables, we surveyed heterogeneity in 150 meta-analyses from cognitive, organizational, and social psychology and 57 multiple close replications. Heterogeneity proved to be very high in meta-analyses, with powerful moderators being conspicuously absent. Population effects in the average meta-analysis vary from small to very large for reasons that are typically not understood. In contrast, heterogeneity was moderate in close replications. A newly identified relationship between heterogeneity and effect size allowed us to make predictions about expected heterogeneity levels. We discuss important implications for the formulation and evaluation of theories in psychology. On the basis of insights from the history and philosophy of science, we argue that the reduction of heterogeneity is important for progress in psychology and its practical applications, and we suggest changes to our collective research practice toward this end.A peptic ulcer is one of the world's major gastrointestinal disorders, embracing both gastric and duodenal ulcers, and affecting 10% of the world population. The current study aimed to investigate the possible protective effect of tadalafil and pentoxifylline on indomethacin-induced peptic ulcers. Male albino rats were divided into five groups. Control group, ulcerated group. Indomethacin+ Tadalafil, in which animals were pretreated with tadalafil orally before indomethacin. Indomethacin+ PTX, in which animals were pretreated with PTX orally before indomethacin. Indomethacin + combination of two drugs. Indomethacin revealed histopathological changes, ulcer scoring, and ulcer index were markedly increased. Serum levels of PGE2 and HO-1 were significantly decreased. The ulcerogenic also induced marked oxidative stress as evident from the increased MDA, decreased in gastric GSH content and SOD activity, while the gastric MPO was increased. Gastric NO content was decreased and the expression of VEGF was downregulated while the TNF-a level was dramatically increased.
