CONCLUSIONS To the authors' knowledge, this is the first attempt at exploring the construct of (lack of) time for CPG uptake in relation to the physiotherapists' readiness to behaviour change. click here This study shows that 'lack of time' is a euphemism for quite different barriers, which map to different stages of readiness to embrace current best evidence into physiotherapy practice. By understanding what is meant by 'lack of time', it may indicate specific support required by physiotherapists at different stages of changing these behaviours. © 2020 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.Musculoskeletal diseases involving loss of tissue usually require management with bone grafts, among which autografts are still the gold standard. To overcome autograft disadvantages, the development of new scaffolds is constantly increasing, as well as the number of in vivo studies evaluating their osteoinductivity in ectopic sites. The aim of the present systematic review is to evaluate the last 10 years of osteoinduction in vivo studies. The review is focused on (a) which type of animal model is most suitable for osteoinduction evaluation; (b) what are the most used types of scaffolds; (c) what kind of post-explant evaluation is most used. Through three websites (www.pubmed.com, www.webofknowledge.com and www.embase.com), 77 in vivo studies were included. Fifty-eight studies were conducted in small animal models (rodents) and 19 in animals of medium or large size (rabbits, dogs, goats, sheep, and minipigs). Despite the difficulty in establishing the most suitable animal model for osteoinductivity studies, small animals (in particular mice) are the most utilized. Intramuscular implantation is more frequent than subcutis, especially in large animals, and synthetic scaffolds (especially CaP ceramics) are preferred than natural ones, also in combination with cells and growth factors. Paraffin histology and histomorphometric evaluations are usually employed for postimplantation analyses. © 2020 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.Periductal stromal tumor (PDST) is a rare biphasic tumor of the breast that exhibits low-grade malignancy and intermediate behavior. It is characterized by proliferation of atypical spindle cells surrounding benign mammary ducts and infiltrating adjacent adipose tissue. PDST is distinguished from phyllodes tumor by its lack of leaf-like architecture; however, it is still unclear whether PDST is a separate entity or a certain spectrum of phyllodes tumor. Phyllodes tumors constitute a group of rare epithelial lesions of the breast which mainly develops at around 40-50 years. The histologic characteristics to be considered are many and often heterogeneous in the same lesion which makes interpretation in needle biopsy material difficult. Most phyllodes tumors have a benign nature, with a high rate of postsurgical recurrence. In the malignant form, metastases are described by distant hematogenous route; its indolent behavior implies a tight surgical management with precise excision of the lesion even if there is not, however, a unanimous consent on the parameters of accuracy of the margins. © 2020 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.Dental extractions are one of the most common reasons for pediatric hospital admission (approximately 82,000 children undergo general anesthesia (GA) for dental procedures in the UK)1 . These cases are undertaken in a range of clinical settings from district general hospitals to specialist referral centres and dental hospitals. This article is protected by copyright. We test the system against Gram positive ( Bacillus subtilis ) and Gram negative ( Escherichia coli ) targets. We use direct stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy ( d STORM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) to characterize the DNA origami nanostructures and structured illumination microscopy (SIM) to assess the binding of the origami to the bacteria. We show that treatment with lysozymefunctionalized origami slows bacterial growth more effectively than treatment with free lysozyme. Our study introduces DNA origami as a tool in the fight against antibiotic resistance, and our results demonstrate the specificity and efficiency of the nanostructure as a drug delivery vehicle. © 2020 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim. The complexes containing odd-electron Be-Be bond are rare until now. Hereby, a series of neutral di-beryllium amidinate complexes containing Be-Be bond were explored theoretically. The complexes via the direct chelation with the Be 2 dimer by the bidentate amidinate (AMD) ligands are always corresponding to their global minimum structures. The detailed bonding analyses reveal the localized electrons of Be-Be fragment can be adjusted by the amount of AMD ligands because each AMD ligand only takes one electron from the Be 2 . Meanwhile, the hybridization of the central Be atom also changes as the number of AMD ligands increases. In particular, the sp 3 - hybridized single-electron Be-Be bond is firstly identified in tri- AMD ligands chelated neutral D 3h - Be 2 (AMD) 3 complex, which also possesses the higher stability compared to its monoanionic D 3h - Be 2 (AMD) 3 - and monocationic C 3 - Be 2 (AMD) 3 + . I mportantly, our study provides a new approach to obtain a neutral odd-electron Be-Be bond, namely by using of radical ligands through side-on chelation. © 2020 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. It is essential to identify reference genes which have stable expression throughout gestation in feto-placental units associated with foetuses of different size and sex. qPCR was performed for 11 genes within porcine placentae and endometria at gestational days (GD) 30, 60 and 90. Several reference genes were found to have stable expression in these samples. The combination of B2m1 and Tbp1, and Hprt1 and Tbp1 had the most stable expression in endometria and placentae, respectively. Reference genes identified as having stable expression were utilised in a larger experiment with placentae and endometria associated with foetuses of different size and sex at four GD. The average expression of B2m1 and Tbp1 mRNAs was suitable for the normalisation of temporal changes in endometria, and comparison between endometria supplying foetuses of different size throughout gestation. The average expression of Hprt1 and Tbp1 mRNAs was suitable for the normalisation of placental mRNA expression for comparison of temporal changes and sex differences between placentae supplying foetuses of different sex throughout gestation.
