This hypothesis was tested in mice with kainic acid (KA)-induced seizures, and then the potential mechanism was explored in vitro and in vivo. Result showed that the expression of UCA1 and Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 1 (SFRP1) were significantly reduced in hippocampal tissues of epileptic mice, while miR-375 was increased compared with the control group. Pearson correlation analysis showed that UCA1 was positively correlated with SFRP1, while miR-375 was negatively correlated with UCA1 and SFRP1. Besides, UCA1 was overexpressed in mice and the overexpression of UCA1 significantly reversed the abnormal proliferation of hippocampal neurons in epilepsy mice. In vitro Luciferase assay showed that UCA1 and Sfrp1 are both the targets of miR-375, and UCA1 promotes the expression of Sfrp1 by competitively adsorbing miR-375, thereby inhibiting the activation of the WNT/β-catenin pathway. The inactivation of the WNT/β-catenin pathway prevented the abnormal proliferation of neural progenitors in the epileptic hippocampus. In conclusion, our findings provide a theoretical basis for the clinical application of UCA1.
The role of thulium laser in the treatment of interlobar fissures in lobectomy is not clear. We aim to evaluate the safety, effectiveness and economy of thulium laser in the treatment of incomplete interlobar fissure during lobectomy.

A total of 76 patients were randomly divided into two groups laser group and stapler group. The laser group was treated with thulium laser and the stapler group was treated with stapler.

Compared with stapler group, the laser group had a longer operation time, more postoperative drainage and lower operation cost while there was no significant difference in hospitalization time, postoperative air leakage time and chest tube duration.

This literature review aims to provide a contemporary update on a selected group of radiotracers and evaluates the usability of radioguided surgery and sentinel node procedures, focusing on most promising advances. For example, the impact of targeted radiotracers on prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA), CD206 receptor-targeted agents (99mTc-tilmanocept), and hybrid tracers adding fluorescence to radioguidance (ICG-99mTc-nanocolloid) as well as targeting hypoxiainduced carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX) will be covered. An integrative systematic literature review was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework combined with the EndNote reference management system. Following the collection and comprehensive screening process completion, a thematic analysis of the included articles occurred utilising within NVivo 12 software.

The review found that there was a paucity of evidence related to the relationship between interprofessional practice models (IPM) and health service equity for ageing populations. There is a need to improve collaborative practices between social care, public health care and health service providers to more clearly define team member roles. Key aspirations included the need for future innovations in health service ealth equity for ageing populations. It is clear that more evidence is required to establish evidence for best practice in interprofessional care that has the mitigation of health care inequity as a central objective.
Age and vitamin D levels may affect symptom burden in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We used the Subpopulations and Intermediate Outcome Measures in COPD Study (SPIROMICS) to determine independent associations between vitamin D levels and COPD symptoms in different age strata.

Serum 25-hydroxy (OH)-vitamin D levels were modeled continuously and categorically (<20 ng/ml versus ≥20 ng/ml).
