al and environmentally friendly pesticide.Millimeter-wave and terahertz frequencies offer unique characteristics to simultaneously obtain good spatial resolution and penetrability. In this paper, a robust near-field monostatic focusing technique is presented and successfully applied for the internal imaging of different penetrable geometries. These geometries and environments are related to the growing need to furnish new vehicles with radar-sensing devices that can visualize their surroundings in a clear and robust way. Sub-millimeter-wave radar sensing offers enhanced capabilities in providing information with a high level of accuracy and quality, even under adverse weather conditions. The aim of this paper was to research the capability of this radar system for imaging purposes from an analytical and experimental point of view. Two sets of measurements, using reference targets, were performed in the W band at 100 GHz (75 to 110 GHz) and terahertz band at 300 GHz (220 to 330 GHz). The results show spatial resolutions of millimeters in both the range (longitudinal) and the cross-range (transversal) dimensions for the two different imaging geometries in terms of the location of the transmitter and receiver (frontal or lateral views). The imaging quality in terms of spatial accuracy and target material parameter was investigated and optimized. In this paper, an electrochemical technique is introduced for the determination of streptomycin (STR) in the presence of oxytetracycline (OTC) in milk samples. A novel bifunctional modified screen-printed electrode (SPE) modified with oracet blue, silver nanoparticles, and graphene oxide (OB/SNPs/GO/SPE) was fabricated. The modified electrode plays a catalyzer role for electrooxidation of STR at pH = 7.0 and reveals a facile a separation between the oxidation peaks of STR and OTC. Calculation of kinetic parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient α and the heterogeneous rate constant k´ of STR at the OB/SNPs/GO/SPE as 8.1 ± 0.07 cm s-1 and 0.32 have been obtained based on the theoretical model of Andrieux and Saveant. A differential pulse voltammetric measurement demonstrates two linear dynamic ranges, 0.4 to 240.0 nM and 240.0 to 720.0 nM and a detection limit of 0.17 nM for STR. The sensitivities of the OB/SNPs/GO/SPE towards the oxidation of STR in the absence and presence of OTC were 2.625 × 10-1 and 2.633 × 10-1 µA/µM, respectively.Nucleoside analogs are widely used for the treatment of viral diseases (Hepatitis B/C, herpes and human immunodeficiency virus, HIV) and various malignancies. ALS-8176, a prodrug of the 4'-chloromethyl-2'-deoxy-2'-fluoro nucleoside ALS-8112, was evaluated in hospitalized infants for the treatment of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), but was abandoned for unclear reasons. Based on the structure of ALS-8112, a series of novel 4'-modified-2'-deoxy-2'-fluoro nucleosides were synthesized. Newly prepared compounds were evaluated against RSV, but also against a panel of RNA viruses, including Dengue, West Nile, Chikungunya, and Zika viruses. Unfortunately, none of the compounds showed marked antiviral activity against these viruses.Patients on haemodialysis (HD-patients) have an increased risk of premature death. Low levels of IgM antibodies against malondialdehyde (anti-MDA) are associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) with underlying potential mechanisms described. Here, we studied subclasses and isotypes of anti-MDA in 210 HD-patients with mortality as outcome (56% men, median age 66, Interquartile range (IQR) 51-74 years, vintage time 29 (15-58) months, mean follow up period of 41 (20-60)months). Patients were also divided into inflamed c-reactive protein (CRP >5.6 mg/mL) and non-inflamed. Antibody levels were measured by ELISA. In multivariate risk analysis, patients in low tertile of IgM anti-MDA sub-distribution hazard ratio (sHR 0.54); 95% confidence interval (CI 0.34-0.89) inversely and significantly associated with all-cause mortality after five years, after adjusting for confounders. Low tertile of IgG (sHR 0.48, 95%CI 0.25-0.90, p = 0.02) and IgG1 (sHR 0.50, CI 0.24-1.04, p = 0.06) was associated low mortality among non-inflamed patients. In contrast, anti-MDA IgG2 among inflamed patients was significantly associated with increased mortality, IgG2(sHR 2.33, CI 1.16-4.68, p = 0.01). IgM anti-MDA was a novel biomarker among HD-patients with low levels being associated with mortality, while low levels of IgG and IgG1 but not IgA anti-MDA were associated with mortality only among non-inflamed patients. IgG2 anti-MDA was a significant risk marker among inflamed patients, which could be related to infection. The secure transmission of data within a network has received great attention. As the core of the security management mechanism, the key management scheme design needs further research. In view of the safety and energy consumption problems in recent papers, we propose a key management scheme based on the pairing-free identity based digital signature (PF-IBS) algorithm for heterogeneous wireless sensor networks (HWSNs). Our scheme uses the PF-IBS algorithm to complete message authentication, which is safer and more energy efficient than some recent schemes. Moreover, we use the base station (BS) as the processing center for the huge data in the network, thereby saving network energy consumption and improving the network life cycle. Finally, we indirectly prevent the attacker from capturing relay nodes that upload data between clusters in the network (some cluster head nodes cannot communicate directly). Through performance evaluation, the scheme we proposed reasonably sacrifices part of the storage space in exchange for entire network security while saving energy consumption.Relay-based cooperative communication for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) networks can obtain spatial diversity gains, expand coverage, and potentially increase the network capacity. A multi-source multi-relay single-destination structure is the main topology structure for UAV cooperative surveillance networks, which is similar to the structure of network coding (NC). Compared with conventional NC schemes, complex field network coding (CFNC) can achieve a higher throughput and is introduced to surveillance networks in this paper. According to whether there is a direct communication link between any source drone and the destination, the information transfer mechanism at the downlink is set to one of two modes, either mixed or relay transmission, and two corresponding irregular topology structures for CFNC-based networks are proposed. mTOR cancer Theoretical analysis and simulation results with an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel show that the CFNC obtains a throughput as high as 1/2 symbol per source per channel use.
