AUC for LV contractility (ie, negative inotropic burden) was 2.2- to 3.6-fold greater for 2.0 mg/kg 10-minute IV dose than for the lower, more rapidly delivered doses. QRS complex widening by flecainide was highly correlated with the decrease in LV contractility (r
= 0.890, P <.0001, for all IV doses; r
= 0.812, P = .01, for intratracheal flecainide).
QRS complex widening in response to flecainide is strongly correlated with decrease in LV contractility. Rapid pulmonary or IV flecainide delivery reduces the negative inotropic burden while quickly achieving C
levels associated with conversion of AF.

During pregnancy period, women's information needs increases. Receiving information during this period affects the birth and postpartum period.
The aim of this study was to determine the use of the internet to receiving childbirth information by pregnant women.
The study was a descriptive study. Data were collected using an Information Form. Zimlovisertib price The sample consisted of 162 pregnant women.
The 92.4% of women used the internet as a source of information about childbirth. Blogs or web pages were the most frequently used internet sources with 85.8% usage, followed by mobile applications with 75.6%, and social media with 58.1%. Most of the women found the information they received from the internet partially useful and reliable. 24.3% of the women stated that receiving information on internet decreased their fears and 14.8% that it increased their fears.
Most women used the internet as primary information source. Health professionals should orient people to reliable sources.

Radical surgery is the standard primary treatment for patients with stage IB1 (FIGO 2009 staging) cervical cancer due to latent parametrial involvement. Recent studies suggested that less radical surgery was applicable for patients with no or low risk of parametrial involvement. In this study, we aimed to determine the incidence and possible predictive factors of parametrial involvement in patients with stage IB1 cervical cancer so as to evaluate whether less radical surgery was suitable for selected patients.
Clinical data of patients who underwent type C radical hysterectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy and diagnosed as stage IB1 cervical cancer at Union Hospital, Wuhan, China from October 2014 to December 2017 were collected and analysed retrospectively. The incidence of parametrial involvement was calculated and the risk factors for parametrial involvement were evaluated by univariate and multivariate logistic regression.
Among 282 eligible patients, 33 (11.7%) had parametrial involvement. Postmenopaal surgery requires modified pre-treatment evaluation methods and prospective data support.Low winter temperatures in temperate climates can limit the success of non-native species. The Asian longhorned beetle, Anoplophora glabripennis, is an invasive wood-boring pest of hardwood trees in North America and Europe. Native A. glabripennis populations are spread across several climate zones in China and the Korean Peninsula and are likely to encounter low temperatures in at least some of this range. Understanding the lethal limits of the overwintering life stages of A. glabripennis is essential for accurately modeling the risk that invasive populations pose to non-native environments. In this study, we provide the first systematic characterization of the cold tolerance strategy and lower lethal limits of A. glabripennis eggs, larvae, and pupae. In diapausing larvae, the most common overwintering stage in this species, we measure hemolymph glycerol and osmolality and identify the effects of prolonged low temperature exposure. In developing pupae, we identify sublethal effects caused by low temperature exposure before freezing. Eggs and larvae were the most cold-tolerant life stages; eggs were freeze-avoidant with an average supercooling point of -25.8 °C and larvae were freeze tolerant with an LT90 of -25 °C. Hemolymph osmolality of freeze-tolerant larvae, on average, increased to 811 mOsm during chilling. This increase was primarily driven by a concurrent, average increase of 232 mM hemolymph glycerol. Pupae died upon exposure to freezing temperatures, but accumulate strong sublethal effects prior to freezing, indicating that they are chill susceptible. Taken together, these data will be useful to inform species distribution modeling in A. glabripennis. As an important natural product, the sufficient separation of plant essential oil (EO) is helpful to improve its utilization value. In this work, deep eutectic solvent-homogenate based microwave-assisted hydrodistillation (DES-HMAHD) was developed and applied to isolate EO from the fruits of Litsea cubeba (Lour.) Pers. Different types of DES were investigated in terms of the EO kinetics and composition, among which oxalic acid/choline chloride (OA/ChCl) had obvious advantages. Following, molar ratio of OA and ChCl (11), water content (50%), liquid-solid ratio (12.51 mL/g), homogenate time (2 min), and microwave power (700 W) were found to be the optimum conditions. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (GC-MS) analysis showed that the EO isolated from DES-HMAHD contained a large proportion of m-cymene and trans-linalool oxide, which were quite different from the conventionally reported L. cubeba EO. In addition, the proposed DES-HMAHD resulted in higher separation efficiency and economic value, as well as lower environmental impact, as compared with other techniques. Afterwards, the EO isolated by different methods was evaluated from the perspective of biological activity. The EO obtained by DES-HMAHD showed higher antioxidant activity (DPPH and ABTS) but lower antifungal activity, which was related to its chemical composition. In general, DES-HMAHD produced a kind of L. cubeba EO with different components, which provided a scientific foundation for the sufficient isolation of plant EO and its application in the natural products.
