*Dallas’ eyes widened, his hold on Ave got tighter, and Naomi started to freak out, she knew this wouldn’t be good* "Jesus-..why is she so cold?!- that's not- not normal!!-“ Dally exclaimed in a panicked voice. Darry was trying to remain calm as Naomi started to get more and more panicked, she started to walk even faster*

“I..I the blood loss!!” *Naomi exclaimed in a worried, panicked tone..she knew she should have told them earlier but..she had panicked. Dallas’ eyes widened further* “Wait- wait wait wait..!—what do you mean ‘the blood loss’?!!” *Naomi tried to explain, but she was panicking* “the blood loss- the- the blood loss from her eye!! fuck- her eye is gone!! It’s- it’s possible that she lost too much blood- when the body starts shutting down, the person becomes cold!!”

*Dallas’ reaction was instant, he immediately yelled* "WHAT!? HER EYE IS GONE!??”

*He exclaimed, looking at Averie..her left eye was closed..but the other was open, he reached out to softly try and open her left eyelid but all she did was wince as a bit of blood gushed out of the socket…Dallas pulled his hand away instantly, he could tell that he had accidentally hurt his Bee, he looked panicked and horrified as he watched the blood go down her cheek* “Oh- oh Jesus-..I’m so..so sorry..” *He said quietly*
*Dallas gently tightened his grip, pulling her ever so closer as he walked faster, they were so close to the house..only a few minutes away. Naomi walked along side him, spilling out all she knew.* “I— when I found her, I..she was on the ground- It was a mimic!! When I got there it had already hurt her!!” *Dallas listened intently, his eyes widened at the fact that a mimic almost killed his baby sister and ripped her eye...* “..Jesus..” *he managed out..*

“You..you said when the body shuts down it gets cold..? you..you don’t think..“
*Dallas felt more panicked* “she’s not- she’s not going to..she’s not gonna die- right..?”

*Darry and Naomi were dead silent, not even trying to respond as they continued walking,but Darry was the first one to speak* “We-..we don’t know Dally..it’s possible..“ *Darry said in a worried tone*

*Dallas’ eyes widened at those words, he immediately started panicking even more* “..so-..so you’re basically telling me my sister might be dying in my arms?!”

“..she- she might..might be..”

*That was all Dallas needed, he felt his whole world shatter..was his baby sister going to die?..was Averie really going to die?..was she going to die in his arms? He felt himself hold her even tighter, his breathing was becoming more and more uneven..*

“N-No! I’m not letting this fucking happen! she’s 15!!”
