First of all, when a career is mentioned, the very first thing that comes to my
mind is a goal. Without a goal, the whole journey seems meaningless to me. My entire career journey so far has been shaped by my goals, curiosity, and passions. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has definitely been worth it. Since my aim is to be a teacher and help students make the best of themselves, I feel that I must put in my effort and pour my whole heart into my job to improve it not just for myself but also for my future students.
Curiosity is a big part of who I am. I've always been curious about technology,
software, and where the future is heading. It excites me to think about the advancements we are going to see in the next few years. I find myself amazed by new trends in technology and I enjoy keeping up with the latest updates of big companies like microsoft, open ai, apple. It’s the same curiosity that made me into the world of computers and made me want to learn more about software technologies. It’s not just about knowing how things work, but understanding why they work that way, and imagining what comes next. This curiosity makes me feel like I’m always learning, always growing.
But curiosity isn’t the only thing that’s enough for making me move, passion plays a huge role too. I am passionate about learning new languages and getting to know new cultures. This passion took me to Europe, where I visited Poland as part of the Erasmus program, and I even got to explore a few other countries while I was there. Traveling opened my eyes to different ways of living and thinking, and it has inspired me in so many ways. It showed me that there’s a lot more to the world than what we see every day in Turkiye. As a future English teacher, I'm planning to share this passion with my students, helping them see the world in a new way through language and culture and encourage them to visit other countries as me.
Being an English teacher has been a rewarding part of my journey, but I’m not just a teacher I’m also a student. I’m still learning every day, not only from books or technology but from my teachers, my experiences, and even my mistakes. I feel like this mindset keeps me humble and open to new opportunities. I believe that as long as I keep learning, I’ll keep moving forward. Being the big brother of two younger brothers has also taught me a lot about responsibility and how important it is to set a good example. It’s
something I take pride in, just like I take pride in the little successes along my career path.
In conclusion, my career journey is all about following my goals, fueled by
curiosity and passion. It’s about learning, teaching, and never losing that drive to explore and grow. As I continue on this path, I hope to keep finding new ways to challenge myself and stay true to what makes me happy. And at the end of the day, I think that’s what a career is all about finding joy in the journey itself.
