Currently, placenta accreta treatment mainly includes nonconservative surgical and conservative treatments such as Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Hydroxychloroquine solubility dmso This report describes the case of a 37-year-old woman who suffered incomplete placenta accreta after vaginal delivery and was cured by TCM. TCM treatment of placenta accreta has its own unique advantages, including low toxicity and few side effects, unaffected breastfeeding, and retention of the uterus, which can ensure the expulsion of residual placenta and be beneficial to patients' physical and mental health.
Symptoms included a small amount of vaginal bleeding and occasional lesser abdominal pain. The patient showed lesser abdominal tenderness, a red tongue moss with petechial hemorrhage, and a hesitant pulse. The reproductive history was G3P2L2A1. In addition, the patient was afraid of having her uterus removed due to incomplete placental separation.
The case was diagnosed as placental accreta. Ultrasound is the preferred method of diagnosis, and bio safe and effective for treating placenta accreta, and it is worth recommending TCM as a conservative treatment along with other treatments. In practice, however, we find that the earlier TCM treatment is applied, the better the effect; therefore, early intervention with TCM is particularly important.

Tension gastrothorax is a serious condition that can cause acute respiratory failure, which is mostly related to congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) in pediatric cases. It is uncommon in late-onset CDH patients, and is difficult to diagnose due to atypical presentation. It is often misdiagnosed as tension pneumothorax or pleural effusion, leading to delayed treatment and potentially fatal outcome. In this study, we are reporting our experience of diagnosis and treatment of tension gastrothorax in a late-onset CDH patient.
A 2-year old boy presented to this hospital with severe dyspnea and abdominal pain that suddenly occurred while taking a bath.
Based on radiological findings we diagnosed tension gastrothorax.
Hernia reduction and diaphragmatic defect repair were performed under thoracotomy.
After the operation, the patient's clinical symptoms and imaging findings improved. At 1-year postoperative follow up, the patient was well with normal chest x-ray findings.

Infertility is a kind of global disease. Fallopian tubal obstruction is one of the most important causes of female infertility. Complementary and alternative therapies are effective in treating tubal obstructive infertility, but there is no study on a comprehensive comparison among them. So, the purpose of this paper is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of different complementary and alternative therapies for tubal obstructive infertility.
We will search for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) from the following databases PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, Web of Science, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (SinoMed), Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang database, and VIP database. We will assess the risk of bias of the included studies with the Cochrane tool, and the strength of evidence with the GRADE approach. Both pairwise meta-analyses and network meta-analyses will be performed to examine the relative efficacy and safety of complementary and alternative therapies in the treatment of tubal obstructive infertility.
Our findings will provide clear evidence based on current available studies, which may lead to some proposals for both patients and researchers.

Previous studies suggest that free thyroxine may be used as a severity indicator of patients with acute pancreatitis (AP) in emergency department, helping determine the differential care of AP. However, there are no systematic reviews and the association between free thyroxine and AP is still not completely understood. Therefore, we will undertake a systematic review of the literature to summarize previous evidence regarding this topic, in order to clarify whether free thyroxine can help us pick out the mild AP cases.
We will search the EMBASE, Web of Knowledge, PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and Cochrane Library from inception to Mar 2021 to retrieve relevant studies using the search strategy ("free thyroxine") AND (pancreatitis OR pancreatitides). Two authors independently judged study eligibility and extracted data. Heterogeneity will be examined by computing the Q statistic and I2 statistic.
This study proved the efficiency of free thyroxine in predicting the severity of patients with AP.
This study will provide reliable evidence-based evidence for the clinical application of free thyroxine predicting the severity of patients with AP.
Ethical approval is unnecessary as this protocol is only for systematic review and does not involve privacy data. The findings of this study will be disseminated electronically through a peer-review publication or presented at a relevant conference.

Oral cancer often causes secondary primary cancers in the upper gastrointestinal tract. However, there are no reports of secondary primary cancers in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma and malignant lymphoma of the small intestine. This report describes a case of metachronous multiple primary cancers of the tongue and small intestine malignant lymphoma.
The patient was admitted to our department with the chief complaint of pain in the right tongue. Partial tongue resection and supraomohyoid neck dissection were performed. One year after surgery, the patient experienced abdominal pain and bloody stools.
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) was diagnosed via histological examination.
A terminal ileum resection was performed. Postoperatively, the patient received 6 courses of rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin hydrochloride, vincristine, and prednisone (R-CHOP).
Five years after his initial diagnosis, there is no evidence of recurrence, metastasis, or other primary cancer.
Oral cancer patients should always be followed up owing to a possibility of malignant tumors in other areas.
