Excessive H protein appeared to sequester general co-repressors, resulting in specific vein defects, indicating their limited availability during wing vein development. In conclusion, interpretation of overexpression phenotypes requires careful consideration of possible dominant negative effects from interception of limiting factors.Acute kidney injury (AKI) is the major complication of rhabdomyolysis. We aimed to identify the predictive factors for AKI and renal replacement therapy (RRT) requirement in poisoning-associated rhabdomyolysis. We conducted a cohort study including 273 successive poisoned patients (median age, 41 years) who developed rhabdomyolysis defined as creatine kinase (CK) >1000 IU/L. Factors associated with AKI and RRT requirement were identified using multivariate analyses. Poisonings mainly involved psychotropic drugs. AKI occurred in 88 patients (37%) including 43 patients (49%) who required RRT. Peak serum creatinine and CK were weakly correlated (R2 = 0.17, p less then 0.001). Death (13%) was more frequent after AKI onset (32% vs. 2%, p less then 0.001). On admission, lithium overdose (OR, 44.4 (5.3-371.5)), serum calcium ≤2.1 mmol/L (OR, 14.3 (2.04-112.4)), female gender (OR, 5.5 (1.8-16.9)), serum phosphate ≥1.5 mmol/L (OR, 2.0 (1.0-4.2)), lactate ≥ 3.3 mmol/L (OR, 1.2 (1.1-1.4)), serum creatinine ≥ 125 µmol/L (OR, 1.05 (1.03-1.06)) and age (OR, 1.04 (1.01-1.07)) independently predicted AKI onset. IDN-6556 datasheet Calcium-channel blocker overdose (OR, 14.2 (3.8-53.6)), serum phosphate ≥ 2.3 mmol/L (OR, 1.6 (1.1-2.6)), Glasgow score ≤ 5 (OR, 1.12; (1.02-1.25)), prothrombin index ≤ 71% (OR, 1.03; (1.01-1.05)) and serum creatinine ≥ 125 µmol/L (OR, 1.01; (1.00-1.01)) independently predicted RRT requirement. We identified the predictive factors for AKI and RRT requirement on admission to improve management in poisoned patients presenting rhabdomyolysis.Cytidine to uridine (C-to-U) RNA editing is an important type of substitutional RNA modification and is almost omnipresent in plant chloroplasts and mitochondria. In rice mitochondria, 491 C-to-U editing sites have been identified previously, and case studies have elucidated the function of several C-to-U editing sites in rice, but the functional consequence of most C-to-U alterations needs to be investigated further. Here, by means of Sanger sequencing and publicly available RNA-seq data, we identified a total of 569 C-to-U editing sites in rice mitochondria-encoded open reading frames (ORFs), 85.41% of these editing sites were observed on the first or the second base of a codon, resulting in the alteration of encoded amino acid. Moreover, we found some novel editing sites and several inaccurately annotated sites which may be functionally important, based on the highly conserved amino acids encoded by these edited codons. Finally, we annotated all 569 C-to-U RNA editing sites in their biological context. More precise information about C-to-U editing sites in rice mitochondria-encoded ORFs will facilitate our investigation on the function of C-to-U editing events in rice and also provide a valid benchmark from rice for the analysis of mitochondria C-to-U editing in other plant species. This study applied a qualitative approach to investigate the underlying influences on consumers' green food consumption from the intention generation phase to intention execution phase in the perspectives of purchase intention and the intention-behaviour gap (IBG). Additionally, the impact of the "Coronavirus Disease 2019" (COVID-19) pandemic on consumers' green food purchases was explored. Research data were derived from semi-structured in-depth interviews with 28 consumers and analyzed using grounded theory. The findings identified factors that influenced intentions and the IBG in the process of consumers' green food purchases. Specifically, these findings reported that health consciousness, perceived attributes, environmental consciousness, social influence, family structure, and enjoyable shopping experiences were identified as major drivers for generating consumers' green food purchase intentions. High prices of green food, unavailability issues, mistrust issues, and limited knowledge were factors triggering the gap between green food purchase intentions and behaviours. In addition, the results revealed that the COVID-19 crisis increased consumers' green food purchase intentions, whereas the IBG widens as a result of issues of unavailability, price, and panic. These findings will help stakeholders build future policy and suitable strategies to better promote green food consumption in the Chinese context. The measurement of six-degrees-of-freedom (6-DOF) of rigid bodies plays an important role in many industries, but it often requires the use of professional instruments and software, or has limitations on the shape of measured objects. In this paper, a 6-DOF measurement method based on multi-camera is proposed, which is accomplished using at least two ordinary cameras and is made available for most morphological rigid bodies. First, multi-camera calibration based on Zhang Zhengyou's calibration method is introduced. In addition to the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of cameras, the pose relationship between the camera coordinate system and the world coordinate system can also be obtained. Secondly, the 6-DOF calculation model of proposed method is gradually analyzed by the matrix analysis method. With the help of control points arranged on the rigid body, the 6-DOF of the rigid body can be calculated by the least square method. Finally, the Phantom 3D high-speed photogrammetry system (P3HPS) with an accuracy of 0.1 mm/m was used to evaluate this method. The experiment results show that the average error of the rotational degrees of freedom (DOF) measurement is less than 1.1 deg, and the average error of the movement DOF measurement is less than 0.007 m. In conclusion, the accuracy of the proposed method meets the requirements.Total hatching egg set (for both egg production chicks and broilers) in the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada report 2017 was over 1.0 billion. With the fertility rate for this year observed to be around 82%, there were about 180 million unhatched eggs (worth over 300 million Canadian dollars) incubated in Canada for the year 2017 alone. These non-hatching (non-fertile) eggs can find useful applications as commercial table eggs or low-grade food stock if they can be detected early and isolated accordingly preferably prior to incubation. The conventional method of chicken egg fertility assessment termed candling, is subjective, cumbersome, slow, and eventually inefficient, leading to huge economic losses. Hence, there is a need for a non-destructive, fast and online prediction technology to assist with early chicken egg fertility identification problem. This paper reviewed existing non-destructive approaches including ultrasound and dielectric measurements, thermal imaging, machine vision, spectroscopy, and hyperspectral imaging.
