Item upgrade is an evolution item that first appeared in Generation II. This item upgrade allows Porygon2 to grow when traded when held.

Substats

If you'd like to increase more chances of getting an individual sub-stat you can select the REFINE ARTIFACTS option in order to increase it by 4 levels. This will cost you MORA. Another method to increase the sub-stats of an item is to find duplicates of it. You can then improve the duplicates to give them more rarity and different set of sub-stats. If you're a top level player, this could be a valuable strategy in increasing your character's DPS. But, be cautious not to overdo this and risk wasting your MORA.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens allow players to reroll an item that is currently possessed by a particular unit. Rerolling the item results in an upgraded version that comes with various bonuses, and a totally new type of equipment. In some cases it is possible to substantially increase its level of ilvl. However the item won't maintain its ilvl Rerolling is useful if the item has rare affixes.

Rerolling an object resets its base power, all upgrades and substats. This is useful when the power of an upgraded item is less than what you want or if a player desires different substats on an existing ring. The reroll token can be found from a variety of sources such as the mystery box, skulled creatures or as a reward after defeating a boss.

Rings, armor, weapons and other items can all be rerolled. Weapons can be rerolled for physical power, spell power, or health. The level of the item determines how much of the budget for the item's ilvl is spent on primary and secondary stats and how much left for procs and effects.
