It is better to give mental health support for the peoples living in the zone to enhance their mental resilience.
The rapid spread of virus, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has turned out to be a global emergency. Symptoms of this viral infection, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), include mild infections of the upper respiratory tract, viral pneumonia, respiratory failure, multiple organ failure and death. Till date, no drugs have been discovered to treat COVID-19 patients, and therefore, a considerable amount of interest has been shown in repurposing the existing drugs.

Out of these drugs, chloroquine (CQ) and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) have demonstrated positive results indicating a potential antiviral role against SARS-CoV-2. Its mechanism of action (MOA) includes the interference in the endocytic pathway, blockade of sialic acid receptors, restriction of pH mediated spike (S) protein cleavage at the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) binding site and prevention of cytokine storm. Unfortunately, its adverse effects like gastrointestinal complications, retinopathy and QT interval prolongation are evident in treated COVID-19 patients. Yet, multiple clinical trials have been employed in several countries to evaluate its ability in turning into a needed drug in this pandemic.

This review attempts to summarize the MOA of CQ/HCQ and its side effects. The existing literature hints that till date, the role of CQ/HCQ in COVID-19 may be sceptical, and further studies are warranted for obtaining a therapeutic option that could be effectively used across the world to rise out from this pandemic.

The purpose of this review is to briefly outline the current state of hemorrhage control and resuscitation in trauma patients with a specific focus on the role viscoelastic assays have in this complex management, to include indications for use across all phases of care in the injured patient.

Viscoelastic assay use to guide blood-product resuscitation in bleeding trauma patients can reduce mortality by up to 50%. Viscoelastic assays also reduce total blood products transfused, reduce ICU length of stay, and reduce costs. There are a large number of observational and retrospective studies evaluating viscoelastic assay use in the initial trauma resuscitation, but only one randomized control trial. learn more There is a paucity of data evaluating use of viscoelastic assays in the operating room, post-operatively, and during ICU management in trauma patients, rendering their use in these settings extrapolative/speculative based on theory and data from other surgical disciplines and settings.

Both hypocoagulable and hypercoagulable states exist in trauma patients, and better indicate what therapy may be most appropriate. Further study is needed, particularly in the operating room and post-operative/ICU settings in trauma patients.

This qualitative study, conducted in public primary and secondary schools, sought teachers' perceptions of mental health concerns that are relevant in school settings. Based on the phenomenological theory, the study aimed to understand the teachers experiences of mental health problems in the schools and how they handled them.

The schools sampled represented rural, suburban and urban sections of Kiambu County in Kenya. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). The researcher made summary notes from both audio taped interviews and notes made by the research assistants and summarized the major themes.

Teachers reported that they were aware that students suffered from mental health problems. They recognized learning difficulties, externalizing problems, internalizing problems, bizarre behavior, and problem substance use among students. Teachers reported that lack of skills and time were challenges in dealing with student mental health problems.

Teachers perceive presence of mental health problems among the students. There is need for in- service training for identification and referral and that school psychologists be employed to deal with student mental health problems.

The concentration of fructose was fixed, while the concentration of urea was gradually increased to study its influence on the formation of nitrogen-containing hydrochar (N-HC). The degradation of urea has an important influence on the HTC of fructose. The Maillard reaction (MR) promotes the formation of N-HC in acidic conditions. However, in alkaline conditions, MR promotes the formation of bio-oil at the expense of N-HC. Alkaline conditions reduce N-HC yield by catalyzing fragmentation reactions of fructose and by promoting the isomerization of fructose to glucose. The results showed that adjusting the concentration of nitrogen-containing compounds or the pH value of the reaction environment is important to force the reaction toward the formation of N-HC or N-bio-oil.[This corrects the article DOI 10.1007/s12553-020-00467-w.].The paper reviews briefly notable examples of e-learning, specifically the pioneering projects in medical physics and engineering. The needs for implementation of e-learning and the challenges to be resolved are underlined with a view of potential quick application of e-learning. The role of e-learning during times of crisis, such as the current COVID-19 pandemic is discussed and the need of adequate pre-preparedness is highlighted. Examples are shown from the recent book "e-Learning in Medical Physics and Engineering Building Educational Modules with Moodle". Ways of reaching the target audience and the problems in some Lower-and-Middle Income countries are presented, together with some examples of quick adoption of e-Learning. The way forward has been argued, emphasizing that realistically the place of e-Learning is to complement traditional teaching and learning activities, enhancing their value and quality.
