His father his elder, Elder T.E Oyakhilome of Benin City was one of the early leaders in the Assemblies. His son who was his firstborn, pastor Chris was certainly influenced by his father. Growing up in an Christian family is an incredible blessing.

We understand the pride his father must have experienced watching his son's birth spread the Gospel message that Jesus Christ is our Savior. His father's legacy must have had a profound influence on young Chris Oyakhilome. At the age of nine, he joined his first crusade.
