They also reported this service offered convenience for patients living in regional or rural areas who then did not have to travel for an appointment with a clinical genetics service. Many oncologists noted the importance of in-person genetic counseling for patients who received positive BRCA1/2 results. Areas for improvement identified by the oncologists related to communication issues between the service and the patient. Overall, findings suggest that oncologists perceived telephone genetic counseling as an acceptable and useful healthcare service for patients with high-grade serous ovarian cancer. K-Ras(G12C) inhibitor 12 Moreover, they perceived telephone genetic counseling to be efficient, delivering convenient genetic counseling to patients.Sleeve gastrectomy (SG) and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) are the most commonly performed bariatric procedures globally, but both techniques have shortcomings. Several modifications of SG (SG plus procedures) have been developed, but the efficacy of the different procedures has not been completely elucidated. In this meta-analysis, we aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of SG plus procedures. Out of the initially identified 2357 studies, thirteen were selected for this meta-analysis two studies on banded sleeve gastrectomy (BSG), four studies on sleeve gastrectomy plus duodenal-jejunal bypass (SG + DJB) or sleeve gastrectomy with loop duodenal-jejunal bypass (SADJB), two studies on sleeve gastrectomy with jejunal-jejunal bypass (SG + JJB), four studies on single anastomosis duodenal-ileal switch (SADI-S), and one study on stomach intestinal pylorus-sparing surgery (SIPS). SADI-S procedure was found to achieve significantly greater percentage of excess weight loss than the RYGB. SG + DJB and SADJB achieved greater weight loss than the RYGB. Major complications were fewer with SG + JJB than with RYGB, but the difference was not significant. Overall, SG plus procedures appear to achieve better weight loss and cause fewer complications than RYGB.Recent evidence reveals that miRNA sponges neutralize miRNAs activity by binding to miRNAs and sequester them from their relevant targets to regulate expression. The detailed mechanisms of sponge RNAs in colorectal cancer remain to be exactly determined. In this study DANCR, miR-145-5p, NRAS axis was evaluated and the diagnostic value of these targets was assessed in colorectal cancer patients. A case-control study was carried out on 40 samples of tumor tissues and 40 adjacent tissues. Total RNA was extracted, and then, the expression level of DANCR, miR-145-5p and NRAS was evaluated using qRT-PCR. In addition, the sensitivity and specificity of these markers were evaluated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Our results revealed that the expression level of DANCR was significantly upregulated in colorectal cancer tissues (p  less then  0.001). It was demonstrated that DANCR could regulate NRAS expression by sponging miR-145-5 in colorectal cancer patients. Furthermore, the mean expression of miR-145-5p (p  less then  0.001) and NRAS (p  less then  0.001) was significantly different between tumor and normal tissue. A significant correlation was observed between DANCR and miR-145-5p (p = 0.001), and also between miR-145-5p and NRAS (p  less then  0.001). Sensitivity and specificity value for DANCR, miR-145-5p and NRAS were (0.875 and 0.725), (0.875 and 0.745), and (0.877 and 0.694), respectively. According to the values of sensitivities and specificity of DANCR, miR-145-5p and NRAS, confirmed with ROC curve analysis, these biomarkers may be useful in the screening and differentiating between tumor and control sample in colorectal neoplasm.Given the limited data currently available in the literature, the aim of this study was to investigate the risk of excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) associated with major depression in a large sample of adolescents. The clinical and polysomnographic data of 105 adolescents recruited from the database of the Erasme Hospital sleep laboratory were analysed. A score > 10 on the Epworth Sleepiness Scale was used as cut-off for the diagnosis of EDS. The status (remitted or current) and the severity (mild to moderate or severe) of major depressive episodes were determined based on the diagnostic criteria of the DSM-IV-TR during a systematic psychiatric assessment. Logistic regression analyses were performed to determine the risk of EDS associated with major depression in adolescents. The prevalence of EDS was 34.3% in our sample of adolescents. After adjusting for the main confounding factors associated with EDS, multivariate logistic regression analysis demonstrated that unlike mild to moderate major depression, remitted major depression and severe major depression were risk factors for EDS in adolescents. In our study, we have highlighted that in adolescents, the EDS could be both residual symptom and severity marker of major depression, which seems to justify a systematic psychiatric assessment in adolescents with EDS complaints in order to allow better management of this problem in this particular subpopulation.
To evaluate the diagnostic performance of the RSNA structured reporting language for chest CT findings in patients with COVID-19.

Patients with suspected COVID-19 who underwent chest CT and RT-PCR tests were enrolled consecutively in this retrospective study, regardless of symptoms. Imaging findings were categorized as "typical", "indeterminate", "atypical", or "negative" according to RSNA reporting language and compared to RT-PCR. "Single, round GGO" and "single, peripheral GGO," do not fit the reporting language, were also analyzed as "indeterminate" patterns.

Of the 1186 patients included in the analysis, the diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed in 388 patients. Of the 388 patients, CT findings were categorized as "typical" in 248, "indeterminate" in 77, and "negative" in 63. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of "typical" findings were 63.9, 99.0, and 87.5% for COVID-19, respectively. In addition to the "typical" findings, the highest diagnostic accuracy of 92.2% was achieved when the "single, peripheral GGO" and "single, round GGO" were considered to be CT-positive.
