A 49-year-old man sustained an accidental injury when he was changing and inflating the tyre of a truck, and there was a sudden explosion of the truck tyre at the service station, which was by the roadside of the highway. With the pressure of air generated due to the exploding tyre, the victim was blown to around 6 feet away. He was declared dead on admission. The medico-legal examination was conducted, and death was determined to be multiple organ injuries [mainly head, chest, and abdominal injuries] caused by the shock wave produced due to tyre explosion. Tyre blast injuries are not so common. A meticulous post-mortem examination is fundamental in formulating and recording the pattern of traumatic injuries. Preventive occupational measures should be put in place.Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of breast is a rare condition. NHL breast constitute about 0.5% of all malignancies of breast. NHL breast constitute nearly 1% of all cases of NHL. Among all subtypes of NHL, DLBCL (Diffuse large B-cell Lymphoma) is the most common type to be known. Marginal zone lymphoma (10-30%), follicular lymphoma (10-20%) and Burkit Lymphoma (5%) are other common histologic variants. Burkitt lymphoma is mainly seen in pregnant females or lactating females. Breast implant associated anapaestic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) constitutes remaining case. Thus, primary NHL of Breast is rare condition. DLBCL is most common histologic variant. We report here a rare case of primary NHL Breast. A 30 years old lactating mother came with history of swelling and nipple discharge from bilateral breast. -Treatment approach for low grade NHL breast is Radiotherapy only and for high grade NHL breast there is a role for combined modality approach that is chemotherapy followed by Radiotherapy with or without surgical intervention.This paper illustrates the growing importance of mixed-methods research to many health disciplines ranging from nursing to epidemiology. Mixed-methods approaches requires not only the skills of the individual quantitative and qualitative methods but also a skill set to bring two methods/datasets/findings together in the most appropriate way. Health researchers need to pay careful attention to the 'best' approach to designing, implementing, analysing, integrating both quantitative (number) and qualitative (word) information and writing this up in a way offers greater insights and enhances its applicability. This paper highlights the strengths and weaknesses of mixed-methods approaches as well as some of the common mistakes made by researchers applying mixed-methods for the first time.
The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown measures to confine it has disrupted the routine of the public. The impact of such long-term confinements on the lifestyle and diet of students are not known and hence this study was designed to assess the impact of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic on the lifestyle and diet of university students.
An online cross-sectional survey among 622 university students across various educational institutes of east India using a pre-designed questionnaire about lifestyle-diet before and during the lockdown. Results were tabulated and statistical tests like Paired t-test, Wilcoxon Rank sign test, and Mc-Nemar tests were applied and overall significance was attributed to P<0.05.
During the lockdown a total of 2.4% (95% CI 1.4-3.8%) decrease in prevalence of tobacco use, 8.7% (95% CI 6.6-11%) decrease in physical activity and a 0.8 hour (95% CI 0.6-0.9 hour) increase in the mean sleep duration was observed. There was a significant increase in use of fresh fruits consumption [Median(IQR)-before2(1-5);during3(1-5) days] and a decrease in meat-poultry[Median(IQR)-before 2(0-3);during 1(0-3)days] and junk food[Median(IQR)-before1(0-2);during0(0-2)days] consumption during the lockdown.

Telemedicine is not a new concept in the world and India.Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) started telemedicine in India during year 2001 as a pilot project and in year 2005 Ministry of Health and family welfare started full time program of telemedicine by connecting all major health institutions. Telemedicine is connecting people across border and culture. The need-based changes are coming in telemedicine sectors such as smart apps, involvement of private sector players and high intensity internet connections reaching to rural areas and difficult demographic locations. During Covid-19 pandemic telemedicine benefited people by supplying health information and consultation without breaching them without breeching physical contact restrictions. The ease of access to telemedicine applications, its low cost, and the lack of infrastructure requirements propelled to become the top choice in these dayswhere physical distancingconsidered the aforementioned, thus we can conclude that telemedicine is promising tool.Assessment of genotoxicity of aquatic ecosystems is of great importance for environmental management and assessment of water ecological quality as well as health safety. Data on the genotoxicity of water in rivers of such a large region as Siberia are almost absent. Researchers do not pay enough attention to river floodplains, but such studies are important for assessing the ecological condition of the river system, because a significant part of toxic and genotoxic substances accumulates in the river floodplains A unique feature of the Ob-Irtysh interfluve is its vast floodplain, the largest in the Northern Hemisphere, providing key ecological functions of the territory. Originality of this river system lies not only in enormous size, but also in the exceptional duration and magnitude of spring-summer floods and the formation of complex biogeocenosis. In this data article we provide for the first time genotoxicity data for the Irtysh river valley (West Siberia) which is longest tributary river in the world. Water samples were collected from 5 sites Irtysh river, floodplain sites (Jivaya river, Mukhrina river, Baybalak river) and terrace (Bog Mukhrino). Allium test was used to assess genotoxic effects. This method is one of the recommended bioassays for rapid genotoxicity screening of the water. Ana-telophase chromosomal aberration assay and micronuclei test were performed to determine genotoxic effects. Obtained data for mitotic index and other phase indexes. Data on water genotoxic effects are accompanied by data on physicochemical parameters. The data shows that the floodplain waters accumulate allochthonous organic matter, which is evidently supplied with high water. This determines the increased genotoxicity of floodplain waters. The data allow other researchers to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the genotoxicity of natural waters on the landscape gradient of a river valley (terrace-floodplain-river) and reveal possible causes of the observed effects.The organisational life cycle assessment (O-LCA) and the social organisational life cycle assessment (SO-LCA) of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU were conducted. The data presented in this paper support the calculation of the environmental and social footprint of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU for year 2016 [1], and may be used as a reference for future calculations of the environmental and social footprint of higher education institutions and other organisations. This dataset provides detailed information on the UPV/EHU and the boundaries considered; on the compilation and quantification of the life cycle inventory (LCI) -which included a transport survey conducted in summer 2018-; and on the modelling process followed for the calculation of the environmental and social footprints, based on the ecoinvent 3.3 database [2] and PSILCA-based Soca v1 add-on [3, 4], and carried out with the openLCA free software [5]. This has detrimentally affected immigrant women with limited resources, who invest in their children's education for upward mobility. Based on a content analysis of 478 posts on the MissyUSA website, this study explores the ways in which Korean immigrant mothers in the U.S. navigate the management of middle and high school children's online education during lockdown. Before the pandemic, mothers' tasks were largely limited to scheduling and coordinating private-paid after-school programs that occurred outside the home. However, the pandemic transformed mothers into active coordinators of public middle and high school classes and of private online tutoring, and de facto schoolteachers at home. This breakdown of boundaries between the home and tasks normally relegated to the outside world has burdened mothers with augmented roles managing the ordinary functioning of their children's education during the pandemic.The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has once again made the impacts of natural disasters a hot topic in academia. The environmental impacts of natural disasters, however, remain unsettled in the existing literature. This study aims to investigate the impact of natural disasters on CO2 emissions. For this purpose, we employ a panel dataset covering 138 countries over the period 1990-2018 and two dynamic panel estimation methods. Then, considering the differences in CO2 emissions across various countries, we run a panel quantile regression to examine the asymmetry in the nexus between natural disasters and CO2 emissions. We also discuss the mediating effects of energy consumption between natural disasters and CO2 emissions. After conducting a series of robustness checks, we confirm that our results are stable and convincing. The empirical results indicate that natural disasters significantly reduce CO2 emissions. Nevertheless, the impact of natural disasters on CO2 emissions is asymmetric across different quantiles of CO2 emissions. Furthermore, the technology level serves as an important moderating factor between natural disasters and CO2 emissions. IRAK4-IN-4 molecular weight The mediating effect results reveal that natural disasters not only directly reduce CO2 emissions but also indirectly promote carbon reduction by restraining energy consumption. Finally, several policy implications are provided to reduce CO2 emissions and the damage caused by natural disasters.
