The levels of cytokines were heterogeneous between the groups, most of the cytokines showed higher levels of production detection among OBI/HCV individuals when compared to control group and HBV monoinfected pacients. We found a high level of IL-17A in the HBV monoinfected group, high levels of TNF-α, IL-10, IL-6, IL-4 and IL-2 in OBI/HCV patients.

These cytokines could be involved in the persistence of HBV DNA in hepatocytes triggers a constant immune response, inducing continuous liver inflammation, which can accelerate liver damage and favor the development of liver cirrhosis in other chronic liver diseases.

Infertility leads to a wide range of psychological injuries that may reduce psychological well-being. This study aimed to determine the psychological well-being of infertile women and its relation with demographic factors and fertility history.

This cross-sectional study was conducted on 300 infertile women referred to three infertility centres, Tehran, Iran. The sampling was continuous. mTOR activation We collected data from a self-generated demographic and fertility questionnaire and Ryff's Psychological Well-being Scale (PWB). Data analysis was done by independent t-test, one way ANOVA. The significance level was set at P < 0.05.

The results showed that there was no significant relationship between demographic variables including age, occupation of each couple, spousal's education, economic status and place of residence with PWB, but the mean score of PWB was significantly different in women's educational levels (P = 0.03). There was also a significant difference between the mean score of PWB among different groups in the duration of marriage (P = 0.01). Fertility characteristics variables include the duration of infertility, duration of treatment of infertility, and current treatment were not the relation with PWB. However, the mean score of PWB in the number of IVF (P = 0.003) and the failed IVF pregnancies (P = 0.01) had a significant statistical difference.

The results showed that PWB related to several variables. Paying attention to these variables can help in the preparation and development of counseling or educational programs.

The triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index, which is a simple surrogate marker of insulin resistance, has been suggested as a contributor of cardiovascular disease. However, evidence on the effect of long-term elevation of the TyG index exposure on myocardial infarction (MI) is limited. The current study aimed to evaluate the association of baseline and long-term elevation of the TyG index exposure with the risk of MI.

A total of 98,849 participants without MI at baseline (2006) were enrolled from the Kailuan study. The baseline TyG index was calculated as ln [fasting triglyceride (mg/dL) × fasting glucose (mg/dL)/2]. The long-term TyG index was characterized in two ways as follows. The updated mean TyG index was calculated as the mean of TyG index at all previous visits before MI occurred or the end of follow-up; alternatively, the TyG index was calculated as the number of visits with a high TyG index in 2006, 2008, and 2010, ranging from 0 (no exposure) to 3 (had high TyG index at all three study visits). Hazentifying people at high risk of developing MI.
Person-centred care is the preferred model for caring for people with dementia. Knowledge of the level of person-centred care is essential for improving the quality of care for patients with dementia. The person-centred care of older people with cognitive impairment in acute care (POPAC) scale is a tool to determine the level of person-centred care. This study aimed to translate and validate the Dutch POPAC scale and evaluate its psychometric properties to enable international comparison of data and outcomes.

After double-blinded forward and backward translations, a total of 159 nurses recruited from six hospitals (n=114) and via social media (n=45) completed the POPAC scale. By performing confirmatory factor analysis, construct validity was tested. Cronbach's alpha scale was utilized to establish internal consistency.

The confirmatory factor analysis showed that the comparative fit index (0.89) was slightly lower than 0.9. The root mean square error of approximation (0.075, p=0.012, CI 0.057-0.092) andC scale is sufficiently valid and reliable and can be utilized for assessing person-centred care in acute care hospitals. The study enables nurses to interpret and compare person-centred care levels in wards and hospital levels nationally and internationally. The results form an important basis for improving the quality of care and nurse-sensitive outcomes, such as preventing complications and hospital stay length.
Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the dominant cause of global morbidity and mortality, especially in developing countries. Tackling NCDs is central to advancing women's and child health, and future generations. Many NCDs can be prevented with appropriate approaches across the maternal and child health life-cycle, throughout the years of reproductive age especially before conception and continuing through pregnancy. However, women's awareness of NCDs screening during the preconception period was not well known in many countries including Ethiopia. Therefore, this study aimed to assess women's awareness of common NCDs screening during the preconception period and associated factors in Manna District, Jimma Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia, 2019.

A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted from March 02 to April 10, 2019. The sample size was 636 pregnant women from eight randomly selected rural kebeles and a purposively taken urban kebele. The data were collected using a pre-tested structured questionnaire and entered into Epi data manager version 4.
