The PANI was deposited on the sensor surface using electropolymerization, and then nickel nanoparticles were deposited by layer by layer (LbL) technique. The modified QCM sensor's performance was compared to an unmodified sensor in porcine and bovine gelatin at neutral, acidic, and alkaline conditions. The result shows that the unmodified sensor cannot distinguish between porcine and bovine gelatin, whereas the modified QCM sensor produces a different response. Porcine gelatin shows an increasing frequency response, but in contrast, bovine gelatin decreases frequency response at the alkaline condition. The time response was 2 min with a detection limit of 51.2 ppm and 8.7 ppm for porcine and bovine gelatin, respectively. Further investigation shows that the modified sensor can analyze porcine gelatin contamination in the a mixed gelatin sample.State electricity company is an Indonesian government-owned corporation with a monopoly on Indonesia's electricity distribution. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) pollution is produced by burning fossil fuels with coal and oil-fired power plants. At the combined cycle power plant (CCPP), the state electricity company has the largest role in SO2 production. In addition, SO2 can cause respiratory tract dysfunction, decreased lung function, eye irritation, throat irritation, and coughing at certain concentrations. This study aims to assess the magnitude of SO2 exposure to workers health at CCPP Indralaya unit, Indonesia. The research is a quantitative study using the environmental health risk assessment (EHRA) method. Purposive sampling was used to obtain 32 respondents. The results revealed that the average SO2 concentration was 0.085 mg/m3. The non-carcinogenic intake was 0.0025 mg/kg/day for real-time exposure and 0.0069 mg/kg/day for lifetime exposure. The Risk Quotient (RQ) for real-time exposure obtained is 0.0959, and RQ for lifetime exposure is 0.2668, indicating an RQ = 1. The study concluded that the CCPP Indralaya unit is not at-risk cause non-carcinogenic due to SO2 exposure. Regardless, precautions must ensure that workers' exposure to SO2 or other emissions gases produced by CCPP activities does not endanger their health. We investigated the effect of T. trifidum on the shelf-life and quality of chevon kept for eight days at 4 ± 1 °C in polyethylene pouches. Different powder levels of T. trifidum (0.5 %, 1.0 %, and 2.0 % w/w) and 0.02 % w/w butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) were used to treat the chevon samples. The T. trifidum and BHT treated chevon was compared to untreated chevon (control). Selleckchem Dihydroethidium Colour, ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), lactic acid bacteria (LAB) counts, oxidative stability, pH and total viable counts (TVC) were all measured while the samples were in storage. Treatment demonstrated a significant (P less then 0.05) influence on pH with chevon preserved with T. trifidum powder (2 %), having a lower pH than the chevon preserved with BHT and the control. The colour of chevon (lightness, redness and yellowness) was shown to differ (P less then 0.05) across treatments. The redness (a∗) and yellowness (b∗) reduced as the refrigeration period lengthened (P less then 0.05). In contrast, the lightness (L∗) of chevon intensified as the storage period lengthened (P less then 0.05). The TBARS considerably reduced (P less then 0.05) in samples subjected to T. trifidum powder and BHT, with respect to the untreated sample. There was an increase in the FRAP activity as the amount of T. trifidum powder (P less then 0.05) was increased. The FRAP values were shown to be inversely related to the TBARS values, implying that the addition of T. trifidum powder could slow lipid oxidation. In comparison with the control, T. trifidum powder inhibited bacterial growth during storage as measured by a significant reduction in TVC and LAB counts (P less then 0.05). It is concluded that, T. trifidum powder has potent antioxidant and antimicrobial activity in refrigerated ground chevon thus can be potentially used to preserve the quality of refrigerator stored ground chevon.
Sleep quality and the associated factors in professional nurses have been extensively investigated. However, as an important part of the workforce in hospitals, sleep quality and influencing factors among in-hospital nursing assistants is rarely investigated.

This study aimed to assess the sleep quality and the associated factors of in-hospital nursing assistants in general hospital.

A cross-sectional survey study was conducted in a tertiary general hospital. Data were collected from 187 in-hospital nursing assistants using convenience sampling from June to July 2018. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) was used to evaluate participants' sleep quality. A multiple linear regression was performed to identify associated factors with sleep quality.

This study revealed a mean PSQI score of 5.96 ± 3.64 among all participants, of which 62.3% (114/187) participants suffered from impaired sleep quality. In-hospital nursing assistants with significant medical condition, low monthly income, irregular diet and high family burden reported more worse sleep quality.

The study showed that poor sleep quality is a highly prevalent issue among Chinese in-hospital nursing assistants in general hospital. Measures to enhance nursing assistants' wellbeing status (health and burden) and improve their salary (monthly income) are recommended.

The aim of this study is to reveal the attitudes and perception of university teachers in the field of Media and Communication Studies in Slovakia during two years of online home learning (2020 and 2021) when the first two waves of the COVID-19 pandemic took place. The aim was to show changes in the perception of the situation in terms of existing positives and negatives during this period as well as to point out a possible trend in the communication strategies used to ensure the sustainability of the education system. Due to the lockdown, the survey was only conducted in electronic format using online questionnaires. The participants were university teachers from the field of Media and Communication Studies. As this is a progressive field the study of which is carried out at the intersection of the interests of several scientific disciplines, it can be assumed that the conclusions can easily be transferred to social, economic, humanities and arts disciplines. When communicating and teaching students in 2020 and also in 2021, online teaching through systems such as Zoom or Google Meet and individual consultations by e-mail, chat and social networks dominated. As the results of the study indicate, modern online technologies contribute to the sustainability of the educational process during an emergency and will become an integral part of university education even after the end of the pandemic situation. The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive review of e-learning in higher education institutions (HEIs) during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study presents current research issues and future progress in HEIs e-learning in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic from 2019 to 2020 through the Web of Science (WOS) database. The analysis comprises citation analysis, co-citation analysis, and co-occurrence of keyword analysis. This bibliometric review provides essential insight for researchers to identify the most influential publications and determine the fundamental structure. Furthermore, this review facilitates future studies on the influential research trends and emerging topics. Findings present several streams of discussion based on the clusters identified from the three analyses. Subsequently, the theoretical and methodological implications on the emergence of new sub-fields and interesting future works in connection with e-learning in HEIs are presented. The outcome would aid scholars and practitioners in advancing the technology and aid towards e-learning in HEIs to ensure students' education can be sustained in the state of emergency.Since the global pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), online health information-seeking behaviors have notably increased. Cyberchondria can be a vulnerability factor for the worsening of anxiety-depressive symptoms and quality of life. The current study aims to understand the predictive effect of cyberchondria on health anxiety, anxiety, depression and quality of life considering the mediating effect of obsessive-compulsive symptoms and Internet addiction and the moderating effect of COVID anxiety. 572 Italian participants (66% female; Mean age = 34; SD = 15) took part in a cross-sectional online survey involving CSS-12, MOCQ-R, IAT, SHAI, HADS, WHOQoL-BREF and CAS. Mediation and moderation analyses were conducted. Obsessive-compulsive symptoms and Internet addiction were found to partially mediate the cyberchondria-health anxiety and the cyberchondria-anxiety links and to totally mediate the cyberchondria-depression and the cyberchondria-quality of life links. COVID anxiety was found to moderate the relationship between cyberchondria and anxiety. The findings suggest that compulsivity may have a key role in the explanation of the underlying mechanisms of cyberchondria. Healthcare practitioners should provide additional support for individuals with cyberchondria. As such, cyberchondria is a contributing factor to the exacerbation of anxiety-depressive disorders and may impact on the quality of life.Mitochondrial respiratory chain (RC) function requires the stoichiometric interaction among dozens of proteins but their co-regulation has not been defined in the human brain. Here, using quantitative proteomics across three independent cohorts we systematically characterized the co-regulation patterns of mitochondrial RC proteins in the human dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC). Whereas the abundance of RC protein subunits that physically assemble into stable complexes were correlated, indicating their co-regulation, RC assembly factors exhibited modest co-regulation. Within complex I, nuclear DNA-encoded subunits exhibited >2.5-times higher co-regulation than mitochondrial (mt)DNA-encoded subunits. Moreover, mtDNA copy number was unrelated to mtDNA-encoded subunits abundance, suggesting that mtDNA content is not limiting. Alzheimer's disease (AD) brains exhibited reduced abundance of complex I RC subunits, an effect largely driven by a 2-4% overall lower mitochondrial protein content. These findings provide foundational knowledge to identify molecular mechanisms contributing to age- and disease-related erosion of mitochondrial function in the human brain.
