The proposed OeSNN-UAD detector was experimentally compared with state-of-the-art unsupervised and semi-supervised detectors of anomalies in stream data from the Numenta Anomaly Benchmark and Yahoo Anomaly Datasets repositories. Our approach outperforms the other solutions provided in the literature in the case of data streams from the Numenta Anomaly Benchmark repository. Also, in the case of real data files of the Yahoo Anomaly Benchmark repository, OeSNN-UAD outperforms other selected algorithms, whereas in the case of Yahoo Anomaly Benchmark synthetic data files, it provides competitive results to the results recently reported in the literature.
To clarify the natural history of retained products of conception (RPOC) following abortion at less than 22 weeks of gestation, and those who show major bleeding during course observation.
We retrospectively reviewed 640 patients who had spontaneous or artificial abortion at less than 22 weeks of gestation between January 2011 and August 2019 in our institute. Of those, patients with RPOC were included. The maternal background, RPOC characteristics, and subsequent complications including additional interventions were reviewed.
Fifty-four patients with RPOC were included. The incidence of RPOC was 6.7 %. The median (interquartile range IQR) RPOC length was 29 (20-38) mm. RPOC hypervascularity was observed in 26 (48 %) patients. The median (IQR) periods of RPOC flow disappearance and RPOC disappearance on ultrasound from abortive treatment were 50 (28-76) and 84 (50-111) days, respectively. Of the 54, 44 patients were selected for expectant management. Of the 44, 34 (77 %) patients were observed without intervention (recovery group); the other 10 (23 %) patients required additional interventions associated with subsequent bleeding (intervention group). Compared with the recovery group, heavy bleeding (> 500 mL) at abortion (6/10 60 %) and RPOC hypervascularity (8/10 80 %) were more frequently observed in the intervention group.
Expectant management was successful in almost 80 % of patients with RPOC following abortion. The additional interventions were required in patients with heavy bleeding at abortion and RPOC hypervascularity.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) can be challenging to diagnose in adolescents because the diagnostic criteria for adult women overlap with normal features of pubertal development. Previous studies have highlighted inconsistencies in diagnostic criteria used by health care providers. International consensus groups have introduced recommendations to aid diagnosis of this disorder among adolescents. In this study we explored diagnostic inconsistencies and provided education for providers regarding these consensus recommendations.
Quality improvement.
Teaching hospital-affiliated adolescent medicine clinic.
Adolescent medicine providers (n = 14) participated in the intervention.
Educational intervention on the basis of the 2015 international consensus recommendations was implemented to address provider inconsistencies.
Use of laboratory assessment and documentation for diagnosis of girls evaluated for possible PCOS.
Preintervention, providers used diverse diagnostic criteria including obesity, insuecord documentation and use of "at risk for PCOS" terminology needs improvement. Integration of specific PCOS templates in the electronic medical record might improve medical record documentation and appropriate diagnosis.
Two concurrent malignancies present in a young person is an extremely rare condition. SF1670 Diagnoses of gastric cancer primarily concern older patients. There are very few reports of concomitant Krukenberg tumor and germ-cell ovarian malignancy.
A 19-year-old girl was admitted to the gynecologic oncology department with symptoms of advanced malignancy. Radiological imaging revealed disseminated neoplastic disease with bulky adnexal tumors. Cytoreductive surgery was performed, achieving no visible disease (T = 0 cm). The final pathology report confirmed metastatic mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma (MANEC) in both ovaries, originating from the gastrointestinal tract. Moreover, the primary germ cell yolk sac tumor was found in the left ovary.
In cases of concomitant gastric and ovarian tumors, metastatic disease (Krukenberg tumor) should be considered in the differential diagnosis. This concerns even adolescent patients. In particular cases, including tumors with germ cell components, primary debulking surgery is crucial for prognosis.

Characterizing mutational signatures across species or within genomes of a bacteria helps in understanding their evolution and adaptation. However, an integrated framework for analysis and visualization of mutational signatures in bacterial genome is lacking. Hence, we aim to develop an integrated, automated, open-source and user-friendly framework called MutVis to analyze mutational signatures from bacterial whole genome next generation sequencing data. The current framework integrates various publicly available packages using Snakemake workflow management software, Python and R scripting. MutVis supports variant calling, transition (Ti) and transversion (Tv) graphical representation, generation of mutational count matrix, graphical visualization of base-pair substitution spectrum (BPSs) and mutation signatures extraction. TvTi plots provide the 6 base substitution classification for both genome and gene level. Further resolution of base pair substitution classification is provided as 96-profile BPSs plot. Mutation signatures is derived based on the characteristic pattern observed in BPSs using non-negative matrix factorization. Relative contribution of signatures is given as hierarchically clustered heatmap. This provides information on active signatures in the individual given sample and classify samples according to signature contributions. We demonstrated the MutVis framework using geographically different strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, downloaded from PATRIC TB-ARC Antibiotic Resistance Catalog (n = 963). The current framework can be used to study mutation biases and characteristic mutational signatures in bacterial genomes and is freely available at https//github.com/AkshathaPrasanna/MutVis.We evaluated whether the format in which prices are presented determines the processing of their magnitude. A price comparison task was used in which two-digit prices with Arabic digits, written number words and auditory number words were presented in the euro currency. Prices were number-monetary category (NMC) compatible (49 euros - 36 cents) when the number and monetary category of one price were larger than those of the other (49 > 36, euros > cents); or NMC incompatible (49 cents - 36 euros) when the number of one price was larger but the monetary category smaller than those of the other (49 > 36, cents 3, 6 less then 9). The results showed NMC compatibility effects in all numerical formats. However, the UD compatibility effect was not found in any numerical format. The results are discussed within the hybrid model of multisymbolic magnitude processing. How do embodied states influence the inferences people make about the meaning that is intended by communicators? We propose that embodied states encourage mental representation of certain meanings while inhibiting others, thereby facilitating or hindering comprehension in social interactions and potentially causing miscommunication. Four experiments demonstrate that bodily postures incompatible with the intended meaning of a sentence attenuated inferences of those meanings, especially when the intended meaning was not articulated directly and required more extensive inference-making effort. link2 Participants were faster at responding to sentences containing verbs inferring a sitting position when they were sitting than when they were standing, and vice versa. Participants were also more likely to interpret the intended meaning of sentences as relevant to sitting when participants were themselves sitting, and relevant to standing when participants were standing. These outcomes were especially evident when the sentences required higher-interpretive effort (e.g., used indirect language) than lower-interpretive effort (e.g., used literal language). These results suggest that embodied states shape inference-making and can thereby influence comprehension and affect communication success, especially when inferences are more effortful to make.Telehealth in pediatric ophthalmology has predominantly been utilized and reported in the setting of clinician-to-clinician opinion or store-and-forward of images, particularly in the diagnosis and management of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). We present our initial experience of using a telehealth model of care to deliver real-time specialist pediatric ophthalmology services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Over a 5-week period, parents were invited to complete an anonymous survey following a telehealth ophthalmology consultation for their child. The survey explored their satisfaction, acceptance, and feedback relating to their experience. link3 With an overall response rate of 49.4%, satisfaction was high (43.8% very satisfied; 38.2% satisfied). Most parents (71.9%) would consider telehealth for future ophthalmology consultations for their child. We report the case of a 2-year-old girl with acute-onset divergent strabismus and ptosis in the right eye. She had an exotropia of 45Δ for near, eyelid ptosis affecting the visual axis, adduction, limitations of up- and downgaze, and a discrete mydriasis in the right eye. Neurological conditions were ruled out. Serology was positive for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. The patient was managed conservatively with ocular physiotherapy and close visual acuity monitoring. On follow-up examination at 1 month, there was marked improvement of the exotropia (25Δ for near), adduction, ptosis, and mydriasis. We report the case of an 11-year-old boy known to have atopic dermatitis who was referred for management of allergic conjunctivitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, and anterior blepharitis. After achieving quiescence of these ophthalmic manifestations, he was lost to follow-up and subsequently presented with bilateral keratoconus. He developed bilateral keratitis with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) 1 week after corneal cross-linking. Children with underlying atopic dermatitis are more likely to harbor MRSA on their eyelid margins and conjunctival sacs and are therefore at higher risk of postoperative infection. Prevention and treatment measures, such as preoperative screening and the use of appropriate perioperative antibiotics against MRSA should always be considered in this population.
