Curcuminoids could be coadjuvants that might help fight BC upon regular consumption.This meta-analysis was performed to compare the safety, efficacy, and pharmacoeconomic of bivalirudin versus heparin in high-risk patients for percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). Earlier meta-analysis comparing bivalirudin and heparin during PCI demonstrated that bivalirudin caused less bleeding with more stent thrombosis. However, little data were available on the safety of bivalirudin versus heparin in high-risk patients for PCI. Thus, we performed a meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy and safety in the "high-risk" patients. A systematic search of electronic databases was conducted up to July 30, 2020. The Cochrane Risk of Bias assessment tool was used to assess the quality of included studies. The primary outcomes were all-cause death and major adverse cardiac events (MACE); secondary outcomes were major and minor bleeding, followed by a cost-minimization analysis comparing bivalirudin and heparin using a local drug and medical costs reported in China. Subgroup analysis was based on the type of dnificant difference in high-risk patients for PCI. But the results of the cost-minimization analysis showed that heparin could be a potential cost-saving drug than bivalirudin in patients for PCI in China.
To investigate coping strategies and identify their associated factors among Chinese clinical nurses during the early stage of coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.
A cross-sectional study.
This study was conducted in seven designated hospitals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of the coronavirus disease 2019 in the southwest of China between 1 February and 31 March, 2020. Multiple linear regression was conducted to explore the association of different factors with the coping strategies of nurses.
Nurses' positive coping was associated with higher psychological capital (B=0.185, 95% CI 0.158-0.213), social support (B=0.292, 95% CI 0.244-0.340) and lower frustration (B=-0.065, 95% CI -0.123 to -0.007). In contrast, higher frustration (B=0.091, 95% CI 0.044-0.139), lower performance (B=-0.054, 95% CI -0.101 to -0.007) and psychological capital (B=-0.035, 95% CI -0.055 to -0.014) were associated with negative coping.

In this study, molten Li is thermally injected into a 3D framework by growing lithiophilic CoO nanosheets on Cu foam (CF). The CoO layer grown on the CF surface physically adsorbs molten Li, which makes it possible to spontaneously wet the framework. The morphology of CoO nanosheets does not change during the Li injection process and formed a multi-level structure with the CF, which is difficult to be achieved previously, as most lithiophilic oxides undergo serious chemical changes due to chemical reaction with Li and cannot provide a stable submicron structure for the subsequent Li stripping/plating process. The super-assembled multi-level structure provides abundant Li nucleation sites and electrolyte/electrode contact areas for rapid charge transfer in the composite anode. Therefore, the prolonged lifespan of symmetrical cells for 300 cycles at 10 and 10 mAh cm-2 with lower polarization is achieved, which further renders the LiFePO4 and Li4 Ti5 O12 based full cells with improved capacity retention up to 87.3% and 80.1% after 500 cycles at 1 C. These results suggest that the composite anode has a great application prospect.This work was conducted to optimize an accelerated solvent extraction for ultra high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry analysis of blueberry phenolic compounds. The conditions for accelerated solvent extraction were verified using response surface methodology to obtain the following optimized conditions ethanol concentration (pH = 3), 48%; temperature, 50℃, and static cycle times, 3. Further, ultra high performance liquid chromatography with quadrupole Exactive Orbitrap mass spectrometry and ultra high performance liquid chromatography with triple-quadrupole tandem mass methods for determination of the detailed phenolic composition were developed and validated. Total of 81 phenolic compounds were identified by ultra high performance liquid chromatography with quadrupole Exactive Orbitrap mass spectrometry including 23 anthocyanins, 32 flavonols, 11 proanthocyanidins, 2 other flavonoids, and 13 phenolic acids. Fifty-one of these compounds have been simultaneously quantified by ultra high performance liquid chromatography with triple-quadrupole tandem mass including 31 anthocyanins, 8 flavonols, 6 proanthocyanidins, 2 other flavonoids, and 8 phenolic acids. mice fed by high-fat diet (HFD) with or without quercetin (100mg (kg·bw)
) for 16 weeks, and carotid plaques from patients with carotid stenosis are collected for histopathological examinations and molecular mechanism assays. Quercetin significantly alleviates atherosclerotic lesions and reduces lipid retention caused by HFD. Proteomic technology identified Gal--3 increased by HFD but lowered by quercetin. Furthermore, immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry exhibit higher expressions of Gal-3 and NLRP3 in carotid plaques and plaques from HFD-fed mice, which are concurrently down-regulated by quercetin. Similar to TD139, quercetin dramatically suppresses NLRP3 inflammasome activation in oxidized low-density lipoprotein-laden macrophages, and accordingly alleviates cellular steatosis and IL-1β secretion, which is abolished by recombinant Gal-3. Co-immunoprecipitation shows Gal-3 binding to NLRP3 promotes inflammasome activation.

While there is a considerable amount of research focusing on university student stress levels, interventions to address them, and coping strategies adopted by students, little research has reported on the strategies students choose to manage their stress and how that relates to their self-identified sources of stress as well as to what universities are offering to support their mental health and wellbeing. The present study provides a contribution in this direction, reporting on a study that surveyed over 3200 students from three large Australian metropolitan universities and interviewed three groups of university staff who provide student wellbeing services. Results highlight differences between what students and staff perceive as main sources of stress and best strategies to address them. In this study, novel qualitative and quantitative methods were established by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry and ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole linear ion trap mass spectrometry, respectively. As a result, 20 compounds were identified or tentatively characterized including flavonoids, organic acids, alkaloids, and lignans, five of which were identified for the first time based on the reference standards. The quantitative approach exhibited good linearity (R2 > 0.995), precision (RSDs less then 4.97%), stability (RSDs less then 4.77%), and recovery (96.04-104.14%). Afterward, this method was implemented to determine 11 flavonoids in four batches of P. lanata. Among them, seven compounds were quantified for the first time. Narcissin was abundant in each batch of P. lanata (average of 10.890-14.230 mg/g) with the highest quantities. The results provide valuable information for quality evaluation.Oleoylethanolamide is an endogenous molecule with neuroprotective effects. We have developed a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method to study oleoylethanolamide in rat plasma and brain using a 13 C-labeled isotope, 13 C-oleoylethanolamide. 13 C-oleoylethanolamide was extracted using a liquid-liquid extraction employing acetonitrile and tert-butyl methyl ether (14). Analysis was performed using a gradient with a total run time of 12 min. 13 C-oleoylethanolamide, d4 -oleoylethanolamide (internal standard), and 12 C-oleoylethanolamide (endogenous background) eluted simultaneously at 1.64 min. The method was validated for specificity, sensitivity, accuracy, and precision and found to be capable of quantification within acceptable limits of ±15% over the calibration range of 0.
