The Worst Advice We've Heard About Upgrade Item
Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A specific item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize during Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be found in weapons, armor trinkets, and gathering tools to boost their level of use. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the type of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is utilized. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are slotted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and then reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the hover display of the item, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment name (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to add decorative and useful elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. The Glyphs panel lets you look up and insert these unique characters along with standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph gives a character a boost in their primary stats. It also has up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Glyphs can be leveled up by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph reaches level 15 it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

After a Glyph reaches the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will give its stated benefit and also boost the other nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put in areas that can benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare may offer dual bonuses if certain conditions are satisfied and therefore are worth checking out for too.

If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of different views. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow down the list of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option below "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limit the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves creating a new account in order to increase your chances of obtaining a character or weapon you want. It can be done in order for you to increase your level faster or to obtain more valuable loot like a new weapon for your character. Many players reroll until they get the characters they like regardless of their strength. This can be because they like the character's design or their personality.

Upgrades make a set item better than before. For item upgrade and armor this means that it gets a higher base defense value and an lower strength requirement, and a lower level requirement.

Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets up to parity with items in higher-end sets. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will boost the defense from 217 to 321 and lower the strength requirements and requirements for level to an acceptable range.

However it's important to remember that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Elite and Exceptional in their own right and do not require any upgrades. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their performance even more.
