Hence, it is unlikely that the individual differences in the perception of visual illusions arise from instability across eyes, time, and measurement methods.Whether unconscious complex visual information integration occurs over time remains largely unknown and highly controversial. Previous studies have tended to use a combination of strong masking or suppression and a weak stimulus signal (e.g., low luminance), resulting in a low signal-to-noise ratio during unconscious stimulus presentation. To lengthen the stimulus exposure, we introduced intermittent presentation into interocular suppression. This discontinuous suppression allowed us to insert a word during each suppression period and deliver multiple words over time unconsciously. We found that, after participants received the subliminal context, they responded faster to a syntactically incongruent target word in a lexical decision task. We later replicated the finding in a separate experiment where participants exhibited chance performance on locating the subliminal context. These results confirmed that the sentential context was both subjectively and objectively subliminal. The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in axial length (AL) after cataract surgery measured by swept source optical coherence tomography (IOLMaster 700), and explore ways to eliminate this AL measurement error in pseudophakic eyes.
Patients with cataract who underwent unilateral phacoemulsification with four types of intraocular lens (IOLs) implantation (Asphina 509M, Tecnis PCB00, enVista MX60, and Acrysof SN60WF) were enrolled. Bilateral AL measurements were performed before and 1 month after cataract surgery utilizing IOLMaster 700. The postoperative AL of the operated eye was evaluated using three different modes (phakic, aphakic, and pseudophakic), and the fellow eye was measured by phakic mode. Associations among the AL change and cataract grade, lens thickness, preoperative AL, or refractive index of IOL were investigated using stepwise multivariate linear regression.
A total of 305 patients with cataract with mean age of 65.97 ± 13.39 years were recruited. The mean postoperative AL was 0.10 mm and 0.21 mm shorter than the pre-operative AL utilizing pseudophakic and phakic modes, respectively (P < 0.001). No significant difference was observed between pre-operative and postoperative AL using aphakic mode (P = 0.264). There were no significant associations among AL change in pseudophakic eye and cataract grade, lens thickness, pre-operative AL, or refractive index of IOL (P > 0.05).
A correction factor of 0.10 mm is suggested to eliminate AL measurement error of IOLMaster 700 in pseudophakic eyes before further improvement of AL measurement accuracy.

Our study may help to eliminate the AL measurement error of IOLMaster 700 in pseudophakic eyes.The current investigation was performed to explore the nutritional and functional composition of four landlines of barley denoted as LB1 (Gilgit), LB2 (Nagar), LB3 (Skardu), and LB4 (Shigar) from different regions of Gilgit-Baltistan. The samples were examined for nutritional profile and antioxidant attributes. Total phenolic values and total flavonoid results were in the range of 1.2 to 3.1 mg/g and 0.41 to 0.55 mg/g, respectively. Nutritional profile as crude starch, fiber, protein, ash, and fat ranged from 56.3%-50.80%, 16.50%-11.73%, 16.20%-11.53%, 2.8%-2.1%, and 2.63%-1.63%, respectively. The mineral composition in terms of Mg (527-616 mg/kg) was higher in the landlines followed by Ca (312-368 mg/kg), Na (122.6-146.6 mg/kg), Fe (43.3-65.6 mg/kg), and Zn (22.5-26.6 mg/kg). It was concluded that the indigenous barley landlines had immense nutritional potential and functional attributes. Thus, it can be used for value-added food products and the development of cottage industry in the region.
