A mystery letterbox is a good activity that is done outside and it is fun for all ages. This makes it a fantastic family fun activity. Not only does it permit you to be in the fresh air, just about all exercises your head by attempting to solve a puzzle.
If you are not familiar with letterboxing, it's actually a hobby of sorts. It going on the moors of England and after this has spread to the U.S. and also other elements of the planet.
Basically, a letterbox is often a container you will find outside somewhere. A common location to hide them is parks on trails.

When you're ready to attempt to pick one up of these boxes, the first thing you do is lookup and use clues that could be available on a web site. Then off you go. You bring along with you your personal logbook and your own "signature stamp" that represents you. This stamp may also be hand-carved.
When the lamp can be found, you're taking the stamp from the lamp and stamp it in your personal logbook. Over time you collect hundreds and also 1000s of stamps. But you also stamp your personal signature stamp in to the book that lives inside box. This demonstrates you have been there. It's a great deal of fun to appear over the comments coming from all the people who have realized any particular one box.
