In essence firms or companies are usually thought to exist to make products for or provide services of some sort to third parties, other companies or individuals. The philosophical question which naturally arises then is 'to the benefit of whom should a firm's activities be aimed?' Possible answers include the owners of the firm, the firm's employees or wider society, the firm's local community or their host nation. It is because of firms' location within a wider society that the issue of corporate social responsibility arises. The issue is do they contribute in a positive way to the fabric of society. In this paper we conduct an exploratory investigation whose research questions, broadly, are whether there is public evidence of corporate social responsibility activity by firms listed in the UK and to what extent, if any, such activities may amount to genuinely socially responsible management by the firms. We examined the most up to date annual reports of a split sample of 36 firms listed in the FTSE 350. The short answers to the two research questions above are to some degree and no by some margin, based on data from the sample firms.Nowadays, students are experiencing difficult and stressful situations due to the Global Pandemic Alert. This changing world can evoke negative emotions that have been traditionally linked to higher anxiety. Researches have been focused on the positive outcomes of trait emotional intelligence (TEI) preventing psychological disorders. However, the possibility that TEI might have a dark side has been neglected. Hence, this study aimed to explore the mediating effect of the three dimensions of TEI in the relationship between negative affect and anxiety symptoms among college students. Participants of this research were 467 undergraduates who completed an online self-reported questionnaire including the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS; Watson et al., 1988), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI; Spielberger et al., 1970), and Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24, Salovey et al., 1995). The global serial mediation model showed that the total amount of variance explained by the global model was 30.8% (R2 =ected, the negative effect is reversed into a positive one, decreasing state anxiety.Stroke patients under the background of the new crown epidemic need to be home-based care. However, traditional nursing methods cannot take care of the patients' lives in all aspects. Based on this, based on machine learning algorithms, our work combines regression models and SVM to build a smart wearable device system and builds a system prediction module to predict patient care needs. The node is used to collect human body motion and physiological parameter information and transmit data wirelessly. The software is used to quickly process and analyze the various motion and physiological parameters of the patient and save the analysis and processing structure in the database. By comparing the results of nursing intervention experiments, we can see that the smart wearable device designed in this paper has a certain effect in stroke care.Public health websites are regarded as official references that citizens of any country rely on for domestic and individual health affairs. For people with disabilities, public health resources are often of greater importance; they additionally provide disability context-specific information. However, to leverage the benefits of such resources for the widest demographic groups, Web accessibility requirements should be met at an acceptable level (e.g., WCAG 2.0, Level AA). This study evaluates the accessibility of a number of public health websites from 25 countries. The choice of the selected websites is determined by the extent of the COVID-19 outbreak in the corresponding countries and their rank as of late April, 2020. Ultimately, this study aims at shedding light on the current situation of accessibility to health information and pinpointing the aspects where accessibility to information falls short in public health websites. Using different evaluation tools, the overall results show that the vast majority of public health websites, of a number of different countries, still have many critical accessibility barriers, especially with regards to the perception of information and operability of the interface items. MYCMI-6 concentration The findings of this study suggest a need for major efforts toward ensuring accessible public health resources in most of the evaluated websites. As this pattern has repeatedly occurred in many relevant studies in different parts of the world, legislation along with educating Web developers regarding Web accessibility requirements and universal design principles become an urgent necessity. This paper describes the development of a new topology optimization framework that controls, captures, isolates, switches, or separates particles depending on their material properties and initial locations. Controlling the trajectories of particles in laminar fluid has several potential applications. The fluid drag force, which depends on the fluid and particle velocities and the material properties of particles, acts on the surfaces of the particles, thereby affecting the trajectories of the particles whose deformability can be neglected. By changing the drag or inertia force, particles can be controlled and sorted depending on their properties and initial locations. In several engineering applications, the transient motion of particles can be controlled and optimized by changing the velocity of the fluid. This paper presents topology optimization schemes to determine optimal pseudo rigid domains in fluid to control the motion of particles depending on their properties, locations, and geometric constraints. The transient sensitivity analysis of the positions of particles can be derived with respect to the spatial distributed design variables in topology optimization. The current optimization formulations are evaluated for effectiveness based on different conditions. The experimental results indicate that the formulations can determine optimal fluid layouts to control the trajectories of multiple particles.
