Elder T.E Oyakhilome was his father and was one of the founding members of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. His son pastor Chris was certainly inspired by him. Growing up in a household that espouses a pure Christian message is a true blessing.

Angelina Oyakhilome, Tim Oyakhilome, had two more children. Reverend Ken is the elder brother of Pastor Chris. As the revered minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas branch, he has given much wisdom to many people and has made a an impact on people's lives. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council.

Katty Worghiren (pastor Chris's sister) is the director for the LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry. Katty Worghiren began her career as a star member of the choir. Many of the most well-known LoveWorld songs are a result of her songwriting abilities. She composed the anthem "I Believe in Nigeria".

On composing the final and poignant paragraph of the Believers LoveWorld Anthem, Katty is able to include this message in order to highlight how important it is to be a part of the Christian family:

A lot of Christ Embassy's members are aware that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome sees Christ Embassy as both a personal and global family. It's inspiring to see his family members involved in the work and ministry which teaches the gospel. As 1 Timothy 5: 1-2 recounts:

"Treat younger men like you would your own brother and treat older women the same way you would treat your mother. Treat younger women in the same manner you give your sister. "

Two Outstanding Daughters


The marriage of Pastor Chris produced two wonderful daughters. They may have split with Anita however, they have a love for their daughters Carissa Sharon, Carissa and Charlene. Both reside in London at the moment.

Pastor Chris's daughter Sharon was a rising superstar in gospel music. She is known widely by her initials CSO. She was influenced by her father's teachings , and has written the award-winning song "Holy Spirit" as a testament to her deeply felt Christian devotion. She is a pillar of inspiration for the Global Youth Leaders Forum, and hosts many shows on its online channels.

Her most recent wedding ceremony to Phillip Frimpong was one of the most beautiful in the entire world of Africa. In an emotional Instagram post, she portrayed her lovefor Phillip:

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Nephew Dayman Oyakhilome is among Africa's rising leaders. He is using his talents to encourage young people to be inspired by the Word of God. He also serves as the Director of Carel Films Enterprise and a businessman. This enables him to share the Good News through modern communication media. He is responsible to produce over 100 Christian music videos.
