Taylors Lazy Sunday coffee beans are slowly roasted to give flavours of smooth milk chocolate and a delicate citrus for a soft easy-going personality. Whether you're pressing pause during the week or winding down for the weekend, a little bit of this mellow roast will go a long ways to relaxing your mind and body.
This delicious coffee is available in 2x 1kg bags. Suitable for espresso or filter. Made in the UK by Taylors. Fairtrade certified. Suitable for vegetarians & vegans.
Roasting
As a light roast Lazy Sunday is gentle on the palate and mellows into a warm hug for your senses. The cocoa flavors from Latin America smooth the brew whilst Africa adds citrus notes to add the balance. The result is a cup that is a great drink by itself, or paired with milk chocolate or cake. It would complement lemon drizzle cakes and vanilla sponges.
When making this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel by adding some off the boiling water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brew. After the coffee is brewed, allow it to sit for 4 minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are completely saturated and not over extracted. The water should be pushed through by the plunger. Don't stir or agitate your coffee as this can cause unpleasant elements to appear in the cup.

Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast with a sweet scent of cocoa and citrus. It has a smooth mouth feel that caresses the palate. The cocoa hints can be traced back to a winters day sat on the sofa with an enjoyable book and an embrace from the family. To brew the coffee, first pre heat your French Press with off boil water. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from absorbing too much and forming unwanted elements in your drink. Then add your grounds and 250ml of off the boil water.
