Our results further suggest that manual lymphatic drainage with or without full CDT could have potentially beneficial effects on endothelial function in lymphedema patients (by reducing ADMA levels), which has not been reported previously.Although numerous studies have confirmed the relationship between high salt intake and elevated blood pressure, the exact molecular mechanisms of this relationship are still unclear. There is growing evidence that skin interstitium, as well as the skin lymphatic system, are important regulators of both sodium (Na+) balance and blood pressure. Skin is in itself a large reservoir of Na+ ions which are stored in an osmotically inactive form on glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). Local hypertonicity due to extensive accumulation of Na+ within the skin as a result of a high-salt diet was demonstrated to induce macrophages to express a transcription factor termed tonicityresponsive enhancer binding protein (TonEBP) and subsequently to secrete vascular endothelial growth factor-C (VEGF-C), activating lymphangiogenesis within the skin. This regulatory axis seems to be adaptive in maintaining blood pressure in high salt-load states. Recent studies have added new insights into the functioning of lymphatic vessels and the pathogenesis of salt-sensitive hypertension as well as questioned the classic view of Na+ homeostasis. This review aims to summarize recent findings pertaining to the involvement of the skin lymphatic system in Na+ and blood pressure regulation.[Editorial] Lymphatic vessels and lymph are a missing link in SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 pathophysiology and therapeutic strategies. Through the innovative understanding of disease development rules, clinicians carry out academic theory innovation to guide clinical practice, aiming to effectively promote academic innovation and the development of new TCM drugs for certain syndromes. In this paper, we expounded some understanding of the innovation system of TCM, and analyzed the research value of new TCM drugs for certain syndromes. Based on theoretical innovation, the overall research model was preliminarily put forward. Our research group attempts to establish a new drug innovation ecosystem for TCM syndrome, with the purpose of providing reference for other researchers.Bletilla striata is a shallow-rooted herbaceous plant, which is highly dependent on the planting environment.In order to improve the quality of B.striata effectively and solve the contradiction between the production of traditional Chinese medicine and the ecological environment, a variety of simulated cultivation patterns have been explored in various producing areas. Through field investigation and literature collation, this paper sorted out 24 sets of simulated cultivation modes of B.striata, including 4 kinds of sub-forest imitative wild planting techniques, 10 kinds of B.striata-economic forest cooperative development mode, 14 kinds of intercropping techniques of B.striata and 1 kind of ecological rotation technique of B.striata-edible fungi under economic forest. Combining economic benefit, social benefit and ecological benefit, the advantages and disadvantages of these planting patterns were compared. The ecological principles of B.striata simulative cultivation are analyzed in detail, as follows(1) thromote the sustainable development of B.striata industry.The study aims at exploring the composition and characteristics of the medicinal plant resources of six major ethnic minorities living in Xishuangbanna, as well as the characteristics of traditional utilization of ethnic medicine, and promote the rational protection and inheritance and utilization of ethnic medicine resources and traditional knowledge. Based on the fourth survey of traditional Chinese medicine resources in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan province, through the methods of literature collection, interviewing and field investigation, this paper analyzed the data of the types, medicinal parts and attending diseases of medicinal plant resources of Dai, Hani, Jinuo, Wa, Lahu and Bulang nationalities. The results showed that there were 1 048 medicinal plant resources of the six ethnic minorities, and the medicinal plants were 735, 497, 272, 295, 280 and 49 in the six nationalities, respectively. The cross-use of medicinal plants among the six nationalities accounted for 62.45%, 78.07%, 88.60%, 87.46%, 82.25% and 95.92%, respectively. The main medicinal plants used by the six major ethnic minorities are root and rhizome, whole grass, leaf and stem. Various ethnic medicinal plants are mainly used in the treatment of diseases of digestive system, respiratory system, rheumatic disease, trauma, snake and insect bite and other external diseases. This study showed that Xishuangbanna has rich resources of ethnic medicinal plants. The ethnic medicine culture with Dai medicine as the main part has a long history and diversified theories, forming a unique ethnic characteristic culture. However, all ethnic medicine resources and the application of traditional knowledge are faced with the risk of gradually decreasing, it is suggested to strengthen the mining, Xishuangbanna folk medicine of ethnic culture protection and inheri-tance, and to develop regional economy and the international community has a positive influence.
