ion. Additional studies are necessary to develop interventions and training focused on the use of a cuff pressure manometer to measure CPs in the PICU by respiratory therapists and ensure consistent measurement using inter rater evaluation processes are needed.Using migration of Venezuelans to Peru as a case example, we surveyed migrants on mental health and migration factors at the Ecuador-Peru border.•Pre-migration No factors associated with anxiety; choosing Peru for safety or expected respect for Venezuelans increased odds of depression.•Migration Walking and education increased odds of anxiety; choosing Peru decreased odds of anxiety; being pregnant increased odds of depression.•Link between migration factors and mental health is concerning, as the associated distress may influence post-migration mental health.•More work is needed to understand the influence of the journey on the mental health outcomes of migrants over time. © 2020 The Authors.Ethyl cellulose (EC) based microparticles (MPs) could provide sustained release for Huperzine A. The drug release mechanism of MPs was exploited to achieve an ideal drug release profile. We previously found that the wettability of MPs greatly contributed to facilitating drug release, which was detailed in a research article entitled "Huperzine A loaded multiparticulate disintegrating tablet Drug release mechanism of ethyl cellulose microparticles and pharmacokinetic study" (Peng et al., 2019) [1]. In this article, the influence of different polymers and drugs on the drug release behavior was investigated to broaden or compensate this finding. Besides, powder characterization of MPs was used to evaluate the further application of MPs for tablets. © 2020 The Authors.Brillouin spectroscopy, based on the inelastic scattering of light from thermally driven acoustic waves or phonons [1], holds great promise in the field of life sciences as it provides functionally relevant micromechanical information in a contactless all-optical manner [2]. Due to the complexity of biological systems such as cells and tissues, which present spatio-temporal heterogeneities, interpretation of Brillouin spectra can be difficult. The data presented here were collected from gelatin hydrogels, used as tissue-mimicking model systems for Brillouin microspectroscopy measurements conducted using a lab-built Brillouin microscope with a dual-stage VIPA spectrometer. By varying the solute concentration in the range 4-18% (w/w), the macroscopic mechanical properties of the hydrogels can be tuned and the corresponding evolution in the Brillouin-derived longitudinal elastic modulus measured. An increase in Brillouin frequency shift with increasing solute concentration was observed, which was found to correlate with an increase in acoustic wave velocity and longitudinal modulus. The gels used here provide a viable model system for benchmarking and standardisation, and the data will be useful for spectrometer development and validation. © 2020 The Authors.Data from the routine surveillance systems have been extensively used to estimate the incidence of dengue. click here However, routine surveillance data frequently underestimate the diseases' incidence. Underreporting of dengue cases is related to the varying spectrum of its clinical presentation, with a large proportion of mild and asymptomatic infections, to its unspecific signs and symptoms, to the limitations of access to health care, and to the performance of the surveillance system itself [1-3]. In order to obtain accurate figures on dengue incidence, a cohort of children and adolescents was set up and followed during four years. The incidence of reported cases was used as a reference for the sample size calculation, which was stratified by age groups. A two-stage procedure was used to select the participants census tracts were randomly selected, and within each one, a pre-determined number of children of each age group was randomly selected. The parents or legal guardians of the participating children and adolesc had a fever episode or a confirmed dengue diagnosis during the previous year. This article contains the description of the cohort's dataset. It is associated with the article published in Acta Tropica, under the title "A cohort study to assess the incidence of dengue, Brazil, 2014-2018" [4]. The associated article focused on the seroprevalence and incidence of dengue, and explored some associations between both outcomes and some explanatory variables. © 2020 The Authors. The data in this article describe the population growth of Prochloron cells outside the hosts at the different salinity levels. The cultivation was performed in enriched standard culture media with continuous photoperiod. The culture stock of Prochloron cells which was made as inoculum (starter) in the laboratory was isolated from tunics of an ascidian Lissoclinum patella. The ascidian was obtained from 20 m depth at Malalayang coastal water in Manado Bay, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The initial stock was kept in 20 ppt liquid medium. Then the cells were transferred into culture chambers, each prepared with different salinities 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 ppt. After the cells reached exponential phase, some drops of cell suspension were transferred into agar media with the same salinity level until the green colony appeared. Each of the colonies was transferred again into liquid media with the same salinity. Population growth was observed until the death phase. The results of the study show that (1) the growth of Prochloron cells at different salinity showed a different growth rate; (2) Prochloron cells grew well in salinity of 15 and 35 ppt; (3) the maximum population growth of Prochloron from each treatment varied. Prochloron cells grown in a medium with 35 ppt salinity had a rapid adaptability to the new culture environment. However, the maximum population growth was reached on the 75th day with a cell density of 31.00 × 106 cells/ml in a medium with 15 ppt salinity, much higher than those of the other treatments (20, 25, 30, 35 and 45 ppt). The data presented here are the success of the cultivation of Prochloron cells outside the host. © 2020 The Authors.
