Video Script: My Self-Evolution

[Introduction: Toddler Phase]

(Show pictures of you as a baby or toddler, playing, or with your family)

"Hi, I’m Rexzie Delloro, and this is the story of my evolution from the time I was born up until today. I was born on a bright and warm day in 2006 a little bundle of joy, as my parents would say. As a baby, I was curious about everything the colors of the world, the faces around me, and even the sound of my own laughter. My earliest memories include crawling around the house, discovering everything for the first time. I was full of energy, always smiling and exploring. My family tells me that I was a fast learner—learning to walk earlier than most kids, and I would giggle every time I found something new to play with."

"But being a toddler wasn’t as carefree as it might seem. Even at that young age, I had many worries. My parents were always fighting, and even though I didn’t fully understand what was happening, I could feel the tension around me. I often found myself retreating into my own little world, trying to escape the loud arguments. Playing in the backyard with my cousin became my refuge—it was my safe space where I could laugh and be a kid again. Despite the chaos at home, those moments of play and discovery helped me develop a sense of resilience. I learned to find joy in the small things, even when life around me felt uncertain. In a way, those early challenges shaped my adventurous spirit and my ability to adapt."

[Elementary School Years]

(Show pictures of you in elementary school, maybe in a school uniform, playing with friends, doing crafts, or reading)

"When I started elementary school, my world began to expand. I was no longer just in the safety of my home—I was surrounded by new faces, new ideas, and a whole new world of learning. I remember being excited on the first day of school, even though I was a little shy. The classroom was a place of discovery for me. I loved learning how to read, write, and solve math problems. My favorite subjects were science and reading. I would get lost in the stories we read, imagining myself as one of the characters. At the same time, I became fascinated by how things worked—why the sky was blue, how plants grew, and what made the stars shine."

"But while school was a place of excitement, things at home were different. Sometimes, I would come home and see my mom crying after another argument with my father. The fights that had been frequent when I was a toddler didn’t stop, and eventually, my parents separated. It was a confusing and difficult time for me. I didn’t always understand why they couldn’t get along, but I began to adapt to a new reality, splitting my time between both of them. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me how to cope with change."

"Outside the classroom, I made my first real friends. Recess was always an adventure. We would run around, play tag, and tell stories. But it wasn’t all fun and games—I also learned important lessons about friendship, kindness, and sharing. I remember one time, I had a small argument with a friend over who would play with the new soccer ball. It was in moments like that I started understanding the value of compromise and empathy. These early years weren’t just about academics—they were about shaping my personality, learning to handle tough emotions, and understanding how to be part of a community."

[High School Years: Growth and Self-Discovery]

(Show pictures of you in high school, at school events, hanging out with friends, or at your graduation)
"High school was a whole different chapter. It was a time of self-discovery, challenges, and figuring out where I fit in the world. I remember feeling both excited and nervous when I started. High school wasn’t just about learning from textbooks—it was about learning who I was. I went through a lot of changes, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. Puberty hit, and with it came all sorts of new feelings and experiences. There were days when I felt on top of the world, and others when I felt uncertain. But through it all, I learned to trust myself and embrace my individuality."

"I got involved in different activities—joining clubs, attending school events, and making memories with friends that I’ll never forget. One of my proudest moments was when I became a part of class officer. It helped me realize my strengths and gave me confidence. Of course, there were struggles too. Balancing academics, social life, and personal challenges wasn’t always easy. There were nights when I stayed up late studying for exams, and times when I felt overwhelmed. But it was in those tough moments that I learned resilience. By the time graduation day came, I was proud of the person I had become. I stood there in my cap and gown, knowing that this was just the beginning of an even bigger adventure."

[College Life: Independence and Growth]

(Show pictures of you in college, attending lectures, hanging out with friends, studying, or participating in activities)

"College was a huge leap into the unknown. It was my first real taste of independence. Moving away from home, living in a new environment, and meeting people from all walks of life was both exciting and challenging. College wasn’t just about going to classes—it was about managing my own time, making decisions for myself, and learning how to handle the pressure of adulthood. I pursued a degree in Bachelor of Information Technology, and it was here that I truly began to understand my passions and what I wanted to do in the future."

"My first semester during this college was a whirlwind of emotions. There were moments of excitement as I stepped into this new chapter of my life, but also moments of stress—especially as exams approached. Long nights for reviewing became a routine, cramming for exams, and feeling the pressure of assignments that seemed to pile up all at once. I remember one particular week during my first semester exams, where I barely slept, staying up late to review notes, trying to keep up with everything. It was overwhelming at times, and I questioned whether I could handle it all."

"But it wasn’t just stress—there were also moments of joy. My boyfriend and I supported each other through the ups and downs of this semester. He was always there to help me unwind after long study sessions, whether we were attending campus events together, watching movies, or picking up new hobbies. Having him by my side gave me a sense of comfort and stability in the midst of all the chaos."

"Those first few months taught me a lot—not just about my classes, but about managing time and the importance of taking care of myself, both mentally and physically. Our relationship helped me find balance, as we encouraged each other to work hard but also take breaks and enjoy the college experience. In many ways, facing those early challenges together made me stronger and reminded me of the value of having someone to lean on during tough times."

"Today, I’m proud of the journey I’ve been on. From a curious toddler to a high school graduate, to a college student finding their way in the world, every stage of my life has shaped me. I’m still learning and growing every day—mentally, emotionally, and physically. I’ve learned to appreciate the little moments, and I’m excited for what the future holds. I’ve become more confident in who I am, and I know that the challenges I’ve faced have only made me stronger."

"I look back on my evolution with gratitude for all the lessons I’ve learned and the people who have been part of my journey. And while I’ve come a long way, I know this is just the beginning. The world is full of possibilities, and I can’t wait to see what’s next."
