Credibility of the Handheld Expiratory Flowmeter regarding Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease Testing generally Care Environment of The far east.
This study leads to an enhanced understanding of high temperature clay mechanics and affords the fundament to heighten clay bricks resourcefulness lastingness.[This corrects the article DOI 10.1016/j.heliyon.2020.e05461.].Particulate matter (PM2.5) has a severe impact on human health. The concentration of PM2.5, related to air-quality changes, may be associated with perceptible effects on people's health. In this study, computer intelligence was used to assess the negative effects of PM2.5. The input data, used for the evaluation, were grid definitions (shape-file), PM2.5, air-quality data, incidence/prevalence rates, a population dataset, and the (Krewski) health-impact function. This paper presents a local (Pakistan) health-impact assessment of PM2.5 in order to estimate the long-term effects on mortality. A rollback-to-a-standard scenario was based on the PM2.5 concentration of 15 μg m-3. Health benefits for a population of about 73 million people were calculated. The results showed that the estimated avoidable mortality, linked to ischemic heart disease and lung cancer, was 2,773 for every 100,000 people, which accounts for 2,024,290 preventable deaths of the total population. The total cost, related to the above mortality, was estimated to be US $ 1,000 million. Therefore, a policy for a PM2.5-standard up to 15 μg m-3 is suggested. The production of pencil lead with the inclusion of ilmenite for strength improvement and product wear control especially during production was investigated. A Response Surface Methodology (RSM) based on three numeric factors and two center points thus generating sixteen runs was used as tool for the optimization of production process parameters. The major raw materials which are graphite clay and ilmenite were characterized using X-ray fluorescence technique while the surface morphology was studied using scanning Electronic microscopy. The studied input variables were ram pressure, moisture content and die dead angle. Also, an experimental investigation of fracture force and wear rate of pencil lead were carried out. To obtain the optimum values of the properties being investigated, a tribometer and Micro Universal Testing Machine (MUTEM 4) were used for measurements, and response table was generated. The response surface plots showed that all three input variable had considerable impact on the responses. Results showed that the graphite used is made up majorly of carbon and ilmenite (TiO2). The control factor levels were applied to optimize the desired mechanical properties of reengineered pencil lead using the RSM. Results also showed that with a die angle of 55.3850oram pressure of 5.716Mpa and moisture content of 22.735, the optimal fracture force is 2.6055N, and optimal wear rate is 0.445 mm/l. DNA inhibitor These results were validated with those of industrially manufactured ones whose values are 2.95N and 0.35 mm/l respectively. It was concluded that ilmenite can serve as a good additive to pencil lead production. In the hot climate of the Mangistau region, located on the eastern coast of the Caspian, there are no sources of freshwater. Of the available groundwater deposits, only three are suitable for drinking water supply. The scarcity is felt in remote areas and coastal areas, where the population uses groundwater. The provision of the population is carried out by a seawater desalination plant. In the hot summer period, due to high temperatures, the productivity of desalination plants decreases (the water in the channels reaches 30 °C, and the plants are designed for 20 °C). This factor provides opportunities for the development of desalination plants using this heliopotential. Easy to manufacture, environmentally and economically viable solar desalination plants are essential for coastal areas where water is scarce. The article presents the results of experimental studies of the heliosystem, which consists of a passive solar water heater (SWH) and an active solar desalination plant (SW). Water is heated in the SWH pool and supplied to the lower SW pool-1, in which the desalination process is achieved by cooling the water pool-2. By reducing the temperature in the SW volume, the condensation temperature is reached. The coating of 2 layers of glass with an air gap reduces heat losses and raises the temperature in the installations by 10-12 °C and keeps it at night. Horizontal glass coverings provide a large area for solar radiation to enter the pool surface. Heat transfer by convection, in the volume between the "cold" and "hot" basins, is determined using the convection coefficient, which depends on the product of the numbers Gr and Pr. According to the results of experiments, the daily productivity of the desalter was 1.97, 1.83 and 2.31 l/m2 on the day of July 20, 21 and 22, 2019. The maximum value of the total heat transfer coefficient for SVN was 32.9 W/m2 °C, for SW 49.4 W/m2 °C.There is a prevalence of high fertility among the Mbaise of Imo State, Nigeria. This is linked to the perceptions, beliefs and practices of the people. The voluntaristic social action theory by Talcott Parsons and Proximate determinants of fertility framework by Bongaarts were utilized to highlight the links between Catholicism and fertility, as well as socio-cultural variables and fertility behaviour by showing strength of their separate and combined relationships. Data were gathered through survey questionnaire and in-depth interview. The findings from the study show that the factors affecting fertility among the Mbaise include communal and individual norms and practices, and their persistent influence signal a need to investigate their separate and combined influences on fertility behaviour. Specific findings were that (1) Roman Catholicism is a factor responsible for the perceived high fertility among Mbaise people, (2) Roman Catholic fertility practices conform to the socio-cultural environment in the area (3) knowledge of contraceptives use is significantly low among the people of Mbaise. The negligible proportion that has used family planning methods did so for child spacing rather than for limiting fertility.
