This study aims to compare nurses' authentic leadership and perceptions of the safety climate and concepts association according to different areas of work and types of hospitals.

A cross-sectional design was used to conduct this comparative study on 314 Jordanian nurses. The Authentic Leadership Questionnaire (ALQ) and the Safety Climate Survey (SCS) were used.

Nurses in private hospitals were more educated. True leadership was mild. Unit nurses had higher ALQ and subscale mean scores. Armed forces hospitals had the highest ALQ subscales, while governmental hospitals had the lowest. The ALQ mean scores favored military hospitals. Governmental hospitals have a negative safety climate. Unit nurses had a higher SCS mean than ward nurses. Military, governmental and private hospitals are rated the safest. EMD638683 concentration Nurses benefited from higher SCS scores in military hospitals. Nurses' ALQ and safety climate perceptions were moderately positive.

A larger, randomized and equal-sized sample is recommended in future st-care sector, and its link to safety climate security still needs empirical evidence. It is still unclear how leadership resulted in more effective outcomes (Maziero et al., 2020). Few studies investigated both the concepts of authentic leadership and the nursing safety climate (Dirik and Intepeler, 2017; Lee et al., 2019a; Woo and Han, 2018). Aside from the scarcity of studies, no study has compared "working area," "department" or "hospital type" concepts. Few comparative studies have been conducted using concepts of interest. For example, authentic leadership was linked to empowerment and burnout (Laschinger et al., 2013) and nurses' satisfaction with safety climates (Vatani et al., 2021). No research has examined authentic leadership in Jordan's nursing and health-care context. Few studies focused on the safety climate other than authentic leadership (Abualrub et al., 2012) or the safety culture in Jordan rather than the safety climate (Khater et al., 2015).
In the nursing education system, evolution is required to train qualified and professionally competent nurses who can face workplace challenges and evolving needs of societies. This study aimed to explore effective factors and challenges of the formation of transformational education in the nursing education system.

Here, we report that interferon-gamma (IFNG; type II interferon), but not interferon-alpha (a type I interferon), induces a noncanonical melanogenic pathway in mouse and human melanocytic cells. Inhibition of IFNG pathway by the JAK1/2 inhibitor ruxolitinib or knocking out Stat1 gene abrogated the IFNG-induced melanogenesis. Interestingly, IFNG-induced melanogenesis was independent of MITF. IFNG markedly increased the TYR protein expression but did not affect the mRNA expression, suggesting a post-translational regulatory mechanism. In contrast, IFNG had no effect on the expression of other melanogenesis-related proteins, for example, tyrosinase-related protein 1 (TYRP1) and dopachrome tautomerase (DCT). Glycosidase digestion assays revealed that IFNG treatment increased the mature glycosylated form of TYR, but not its de novo synthesis. Moreover, cycloheximide chase assay showed that degradation of TYR was decreased in IFNG-treated cells. These results suggest that the IFNG-STAT1 pathway regulates melanogenesis via regulation of the post-translational processing and protein stability of TYR.Robust superlubricity (RSL), defined by concurrent superlow friction and wear, holds great promise for reducing material and energy loss in vast industrial and technological operations. Despite recent advances, challenges remain in finding materials that exhibit RSL on macrolength and time scales and possess vigorous electrical conduction ability. Here, the discovery of RSL is reported on hydrated NbB2 films that exhibit vanishingly small coefficient of friction (0.001-0.006) and superlow wear rate (≈10-17 m3 N-1 m-1 ) on large length scales reaching millimeter range and prolonged time scales lasting through extensive loading durations. Moreover, the measured low resistivity (≈10-6 Ω m) of the synthesized NbB2 film indicates ample capability for electrical conduction, extending macroscale RSL to hitherto largely untapped metallic materials. Pertinent microscopic mechanisms are elucidated by deciphering the intricate load-driven chemical reactions that generate and sustain the observed superlubricating state and assessing the strong stress responses under diverse strains that produce the superior durability.
