Worldwide restoration strategies were reviewed, and a framework for pond restoration and conservation was proposed, which includes policies and incentives, technologies such as environmental-DNA (e-DNA), life cycle assessment (LCA), and other ecohydrological measures. Nature-based solutions (NBS) offer a sustainable and cost-effective approach to restoring the pond's natural processes. Furthermore, linkage between the pond ecosystem and the CE was assessed to encourage a regenerative system for biodiversity conservation. This study informs the need for extensive actions and legislative reforms to restore and conserve the pond ecosystems.

The prevalence of COVID-19 as pandemic disease and efforts to control it have caused extensive changes in work methods and the global growth of teleworking, especially in health. This study aimed to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of teleworking in healthcare institutions during the Covid-19 era.

This systematic review was conducted up to January 1, 2022, by searching the relevant keywords in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and ProQuest databases. Study selection has been conducted based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data extraction was done using the data extraction form based on the study objectives.

From all 276 articles retrieved, 14 studies were included in the study. The results show that England had the highest number of articles (6 articles). The advantages of teleworking have ten categories, and the disadvantages have nine categories. The most important benefits of teleworking include facilitating service delivery, increasing satisfaction, supporting healthcare providers, and reducing costs. The most important disadvantages of using teleworking have been the lack of facilities and support, the lack of technology acceptance, and reduced interactions between healthcare providers.

Although teleworking was a suitable solution for some problems in healthcare institutions during COVID-19, it is also associated with obstacles. It is recommended that managers make policies and guidelines to use appropriate technologies, provide facilities, and have continuous support and increased interactions between healthcare providers and patients.

We conducted a survey study at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to assess COVID-19 vaccine attitudes and behaviors among medical students. Almost all respondents (96.5%,
= 222) believed vaccines were effective and reported being asked about the COVID-19 vaccine by family members (79.0%,
= 180). However, when asked how they respond when someone shares misinformation, 89.0% (
= 202) responded they agree to avoid conflict, 44.9% (
 = 102) listened empathically, and 9.3% (
= 21) corrected the misinformation. Medical school education can address this disconnect, using standardized patients and role-playing to give students the tools to address vaccine hesitancy within their communities.

These approximations are derived by establishing Jackson type inequalities involving the modulus of continuity of the engaged function or its Banach space valued high order derivative or fractional derivatives. Our operators are defined by using a density function generated by the Richards curve, which is generalized logistic function. The approximations are pointwise and of the uniform norm. The related Banach space valued feed-forward neural networks are with one hidden layer.
Our main purpose in this study was to investigate the levels of and the relationship between familiarity, confidence, training, and use of problem behavior interventions by special education teachers working with learners with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in school settings. A total of 80 special education teachers in South Carolina and Virginia completed an online survey. N6F11 manufacturer Results indicate a positive correlation between teachers' familiarity, confidence, training, and use of problem behavior interventions. Across all intervention categories, providing choices, prompting, modeling, and direct instruction received the highest rankings for familiarity, confidence, and use. In addition, our results reveal that familiarity and confidence in implementing these interventions differs across groups of special education teachers based on years of experience. The most frequently reported factors that limit the use of problem behavior interventions in school settings were competing responsibilities, the need to involve multiple people, the amount of time required, and the difficulty using interventions during typical routines. Implications for research and practice are discussed.

Transition-age youth (TAY) who have experienced or are experiencing complex trauma, system involvement and homelessness are at increased risk for serious mental health needs and related challenges. However, these vulnerable and historically marginalized TAY typically have low rates of mental health service engagement. This study examines how and why TAY experiencing system involvement, homelessness, and serious mental health and substance use symptoms engage in mental health services, and what facilitates and/or hinders their engagement in services. Methods. Twenty-one TAY completed a virtual interview about their previous and current mental health service experiences, and why they did or did not engage with mental health services. A modified grounded theory qualitative analysis approach was used to understand how participants' personal sense of meaning interacted with programmatic factors to construct participant experiences with mental health services. Results. Most participants (81%, n = 17) received mental health services, namely psychiatry (76%, n = 16) and counseling/therapy (48%, n = 10), and peer support (10%, n = 2). Participants described their mental health service experiences along three interpersonal and relational continuums between themselves and their providers feeling (mis)understood, being treated with (dis)respect, and experiencing (dis)trust. Discussion. Study findings reveal that for these particularly vulnerable and marginalized TAY, relational and interpersonal factors significantly influenced their engagement in mental health services. Study findings call for providers to re-imagine their working alliance with highly vulnerable TAY through culturally-attuned practices that promote understanding, respect, and trust. Findings also call for TAY-serving programs and policies to re-imagine peer support as a mental health service option for this highly vulnerable population.Artificial intelligence has been developed to be able to solve difficult problems that involve huge amounts of data and that require rapid decision-making in most branches of science and business. Machine learning is one of the most prominent areas of artificial intelligence, which has been used heavily in the last two decades in the field of network security, especially in Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). Pattern recognition is a machine learning method applied in medical applications, image processing, and video processing. In this article, two layers' IDS is proposed. The first layer classifies the network connection according to the used service. Then, a minimum number of features that optimize the detection accuracy of malicious activities on that service are identified. Using those features, the second layer classifies each network connection as an attack or normal activity based on the pattern recognition method. In the training phase, two multivariate normal statistical models are created the normal behavior model and the attack behavior model. In the testing and running phases, a maximum likelihood estimation function is used to classify a network connection into attack or normal activity using the two multivariate normal statistical models. The experimental results prove that the proposed IDS has superiority over related IDSs for network intrusion detection. Using only four features, it successfully achieves DR of 97.5%, 0.001 FAR, MCC 95.7%, and 99.8% overall accuracy.Introduction The incidence of acquired laryngotracheal stenosis is on rise, being caused usually due to prolonged intubation or trauma. Its management has thus become a common clinical challenge for Otolaryngologists and Head and Neck surgeons. Further, with advances in Critical care medicine, Cardiopulmonary surgery and Neurosurgery, the number of intubation-related laryngotracheal injuries is increasing. Objectives To assess the outcome of patients who underwent Partial Cricotracheal Resection (PCTR) for subglottic stenosis on basis of pre-defined parameters. Design of Study This is a prospective study. Materials and Methods Four patients who came to Ear Nose Throat (ENT) department, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna with complaints of either difficult decannulation or stridor, for which PCTR was planned, were included in the study. Surgical resection was done and all patients were followed up for a minimum of 6 months. Postoperatively certain parameters, such as respiration, voice, difficulty in swallowing, feeding and personal satisfaction, were used to evaluate the patients and analyse the efficacy of the surgery. Results Three out of four cases came up with complete cure with no dyspnoea, dysphagia, hoarseness of voice. Only one patient could not be extubated and was continued on Ryle's tube for longer duration compared to other patients. Conclusion PCTR is an effective and reliable procedure for management of laryngotracheal stenosis caused due to trauma.
Establishing and maintaining a cancer registry in a tertiary high volume centre is fraught with difficulty, inaccuracy and missed data entry. Further, the raw unstructured data must be converted into a structured digital data, so that scientists can identify trends in cancer diagnoses and treatment responses.
We test the feasibility of establishing a cancer registry of Head and Neck malignancy patients through a research oriented artificial intelligence (AI) enabled data collection platform, using its smartphone application version.
This prospective observational study was conducted in the Department of Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education And Research, Chandigarh in collaboration with Departments of Radiotherapy and Community Medicine. After taking due clearance from the Institute ethical committee, HNC patients, who were biopsy proven, were enrolled from October 2019 up to March 2021. The obtained data was entered, followed up and analysed through Jiyyo Research application which is a commercially available dedicated research oriented AI enabled data collection platform.
