Therefore, careful determination of the appropriate treatment indications and further studies are warranted.We conducted a retrospective analysis of records of special needs patients (SNPs) who received dental treatment under orotracheal-intubation general anaesthesia (OIGA) at Caritas Centre St. Family in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina during the 14-year period from January 2005 to December 2018. Of the 7,085 SNPs who received dental treatment, 1,220 (17.2%) received dental treatment under OIGA 829 (67.9%) males and 391 (32.1%) females. The patients' mean age was 18.3±10.9 years (747 paediatric and 473 adult patients). Mental retardation and psychiatric problems were the most common medical conditions (81.22%). The most common indication for dental treatment under OIGA was behaviour management (87.21%), and 81% of the patients had an urgent need for treatment. Many of the patients had restorative treatment (3,833) and tooth extractions (3,681). From 2011 onwards, the number of tooth extractions decreased significantly. Annual trends revealed a rapid increase of patients every year. The mean dental treatment duration was 95.3±12.1 min; the mean time under OIGA was 98±8.5 min. No serious adverse effects occurred. There was increase of annual trend of SNP in OIGA. The number of extractions decreased while the number of preventive and restorative dental treatments increased.Remarkable progress in ageing research has been achieved over the past decades. However, the payload capacity of less then 4.9 kb limits the transfer of large or multiple genes. Oversized payloads could be delivered by fragmenting the transgenes into separate AAV capsids that are then mixed. This strategy could increase the AAV cargo capacity to treat monogenic, polygenic diseases and comorbidities only if controlled co-expression of multiple AAV capsids is achieved on each transduced cell. We developed a tool to quantify the number of incoming AAV genomes that are co-expressed in the nervous system with single-cell resolution. By using an isogenic mix of three AAVs each expressing single fluorescent reporters, we determined that expression of much greater than 31 AAV genomes per neuron in vitro and 20 genomes per neuron in vivo is obtained across different brain regions including anterior cingulate, prefrontal, somatomotor and somatosensory cortex areas, and cerebellar lobule VI. Our results demonstrate that multiple AAV vectors containing different transgenes or transgene fragments, can efficiently co-express in the same neuron. A systematic review was carried out by searching the Pubmed, CINAHL, Cuiden, Scopus, and Cochrane Library databases. The mixed methods assessment tool (MMAT) was used to assess the quality of the articles.

A total of 29 studies met the inclusion criteria and were therefore included in this systematic review. The identified factors were grouped into 12 aspects child sexual abuse, alcohol consumption, cruising, stigma, chemsex, age, country of origin, means of explicit sex, programs for the prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, psychosocial problems, type of partner and sexual role.

The most common applications for virtual AI include disease diagnosis, health monitoring and digital patient consultations, clinical training, patient data management, drug development, and personalized medicine. In September 2020, the CONSORT-A1 extension was developed with 14 additional items that should be reported for AI studies that include clear descriptions of the AI intervention, skills required, study setting, inputs and outputs of the AI intervention, analysis of errors, and the human and AI interactions. However, intra-abdominal hypertension (IAH) rarely causes sudden GEI in patients without known risk factors. Endoscopic or surgical intervention is generally performed to reduce GEI. However, when GEI is induced by IAH, intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) decompression can contribute to GEI reduction. CASE REPORT An 81-year-old man who underwent transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) for hematuria from a bladder tumor located at the left lateral wall had a deteriorated general status and bladder perforation during surgery in February 2020. The perforated portion was coagulated and treated conservatively using a urinary tract catheter. He was admitted to our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following surgery after undergoing computed tomography (CT). CT revealed free air, ascites, and intra/retroperitoneal edema due to perfusion fluid leakage, and a new GEI was documented. The GEI required reduction; however, since his IAP increased to 21 mmHg, IAH-induced GEI was diagnosed; ascites drainage for IAP decompression was performed. IAP decreased to 12 mmHg after drainage; on subsequent gastrointestinal endoscopy, the GEI had reduced. His condition improved with no recurrence of GEI, and he was discharged from the ICU on day 8. CONCLUSIONS We report a case of IAH-induced GEI as a complication of perfusion fluid leakage during TURBT. Transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-ß1) controls collagen synthesis and degradation in pelvic connective tissue. Although the p44/42 MAPK pathway has been implicated in collagen production and extracellular matrix disorders, its expression in POP remains unknown. This study aimed to investigate TGF-ß1 and p44/42 expression in cardinal ligament tissues in patients with POP. MATERIAL AND METHODS Cardinal ligament tissues were obtained from 30 patients with POP (POP group) and 30 patients with benign gynecological disorders who had undergone total hysterectomy (control group). The clinical characteristics of the 2 groups were summarized. Immunohistochemical staining and western blotting analysis were performed to measure the expression of TGF-ß1, p44/42, phospho-p44/42, MMP9, TIMP1, caspase 3, collagen I, and collagen III in the cardinal ligament tissues.
