The bottom hinge of a bifolding door is attached by a pin fixed to one side of the door and a pin that's spring-loaded and slides along a track at the top. The pins are joined to a bracket which is attached into the head jamb and floor or side jamb during the installation. In some instances the bottom hinge could be adjusted to raise or lower the door. Depending on the condition the track and the door it may suffice to solve the problem.
When the bottom hinge of the bifold door isn't secured correctly, it could cause the door to sag and rub against the carpeting. It is possible to fix this by turning the bottom pin in the counterclockwise direction. This will allow the door to close more easily and also increase the height of track. If this isn't working, try putting shims underneath the bottom of the bracket.
With a screwdriver, loosen the set screws on the top set. Then open and close the door to check whether it is in line with the frame. If it isn't, close the door and carefully examine the edge of the door to determine the gap that should be there. If the gap is large, you can use a circular saw and reduce it to correct the issue. Be cautious not to cut too much, as this can cause the door to warp or chip.

The edges of the closet doors should be in line with the frame. If they're not, use a screwdriver to loosen the top set screw on the door frame rail slightly and then move the rail back to a place that allows the edge of the door to be aligned with the frame.

If the sliding bracket is loose tighten it up using a screwdriver. If the lower corner of the sliding bracket isn't in a floor bracket, adjust it so that the hinge side of the door is level with about 1/16 inch of clearance from the jamb when it is closed.
The top pivot is typically made of metal and is placed in a plastic cap with a lipped edge.
