Cheap Single Pushchairs
The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a excellent choice if you're on a tight budget and do not need a stroller that can be used as car seat carrier. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop friendly.
It's also easy to push and feels solid when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation for being the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as well jet-setters. This is due to its extremely nimble handling and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel elastomer that allows it to perfectly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.
The base YOYO2 frame with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a the 6+ month colour pack come together to form a stylish pushchair that's easy to look at and has a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The frame's weight alone is less than a kilo and is so light that you can easily lift it out of the box (and do it using one hand).
The hood, for example, snaps on the YOYO2 in a calm manner. It is also machine washable at 30 degrees, which helps to prevent stains caused by smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It could also be converted into a stroller after 6 months by using the YOYO connect to additional chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller wagon. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be transformed from a stroller to a wagon by simply flipping the handle. Parents can then choose the best mode for their journey. The wagon is able to accommodate two or three children ranging from 6 months to five years old. It comes with a large storage basket that can accommodate all your necessities when you are on the move.
The Xplore comes with two canopy options that rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell that's not as deep or large as other wagons, so it may not be ideal for long-distance excursions or for napping.
The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend as much as other wagons that we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the other models and it doesn't close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, though, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side by Side
This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put into a car trunk. It also comes with the option of reclining in multiple positions and an adult cup holder. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.
It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top, and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.
The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together using an average manual, and none of the components required tools. However, it is missing certain essential features we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is the most recent addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is billed as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth until around 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted in just a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-incar base and a reversible baby carriage.
It is really easy to maneuver and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the huge shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. Despite this being quite a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and went through doorways without fuss.
The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. While walking through the stony trail, we let them swivel and it performed well although it did seem more bumpy than the other models in our test.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,
Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler pushchairs for jogging, but they also have a wide selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.
It is a bit heavier than other strollers we tested however the wheels are made of rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and durable. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other things.
The carrycot and seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are waterproof and strong unlike other prams' hoods that get whipped back into toddlers faces.
It's not a lot of storage space, however it does have a big basket that's deep enough for an infant's changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to take a stroller on the move.
6. best single travel stroller Next
Nuna Mixx was an infant stroller that captivated the hearts of many parents when it first appeared. It is an aluminium-framed stroller that can be used from the infant's first days until. It's got a few stand-out features including the ability to flip the seat to be parent-facing and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.
The wheels are tough and filled with foam, which reduces the risk of punctures and the chassis has built-in suspension that eases the pain of bumpy terrain. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets without difficulty.
It folds down in four easy steps and locks automatically without hassle. It can also be rolled and raised for easier transport down the stairs, or in the boot of the car. The travel system is also included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that are included. The brakes have one action and are color coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.
7. Babyzen Duet
This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to use and has a fantastic dual suspension. It can be folded by one hand and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also very light and robust. The seat can be reclined into several positions. It has a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable from birth.
The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't perfect because it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.
The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even can be used with carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be facing one another or be turned around to face the parents, theoretically reducing sibling fights over who gets to sit with dad and mom. It comes with a large gear tray with a bottle holder as well as snack trays. It also comes with a compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.
8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.
The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents that like to be active. It's among the lightest running strollers you can purchase for your child. It also comes with great safety features like five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It also has an innovative twist hand brake that's different from the lever type found on competing models.
The seat is very comfortable and offers a large area to sit. However the seat's isn't as deep as those of other joggers (it's only about 10") The storage bin is equipped with an enclosed zipper to help keep items safe. It can hold up to 10 lbs., which is sufficient for most diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats as of yet, but you can use it from the beginning by purchasing adapters for most seats by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It's simple to fold and assemble in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The instruction manual is easy to read and contains a variety of languages.
