Why Item Upgrade Is The Next Big Obsession
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations used.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an item you have acquired, such as armor, weapon, or rings. This replaces the item with another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original item's level and any money wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on an item, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment in three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To create them, you'll need a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next Success result is repeated. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open, they display a full description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. The system is a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want to strain their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto the new gear.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is attained.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can place a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When item upgrading is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounts.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from various sources in the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get the perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will add an item in your inventory once you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
