Why Item Upgrade Should Be Your Next Big Obsession
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item of equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To produce them, you require a higher level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

During the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's level, and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.


After deciding on the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. There are many methods to get these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular amount of items to be added and a minimum level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On item upgrading , players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of the item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once item upgrading reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.

Some items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
