7 Things You've Never Knew About Item Upgrade

Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they don't keep the level of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players additional health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. item upgrading can be opened with Interact by grasping them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto the new gear.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to acquire these stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be added in addition to an appropriate level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Once players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens.

The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.

Certain items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.


When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display an open window that displays the necessary requirements. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
