How To Identify The Item Upgrade That Is Right For You

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
