Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades


Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or rings. This swaps the current item for a different one similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.

The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones are also available to players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want burden their wallets. Additionally players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive an upgrade to a higher level. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be used, as well as an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can add an item to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further enhance the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.

Certain items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will add an item in your inventory when you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
