World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
The upgrade of an item lets players increase an item's gear rating up to 700 points and add a bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory and heading to the kiln.
Certain items are worth upgrading due to their distinctive stats. (For example, a perfectly roll breakpoint armor is used in melee PvP). Other items like weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade and aren't worth the effort.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to increase their numeric stats such as crit chance, attack damage, PvE and PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. A lot of weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are placed in a single unit. In certain instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon upgrades on its own.
The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance an item with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the weapon will continue to increase until it is required to use an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones, at which point it will reset to one.
upgrade item to weapons will also reroll the stats of the base. This is generally a positive aspect, but it may also have negative effects. Upgrades can make things unusable, unless you are exceptionally lucky.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their stats. In the case of chests or helms it will boost its base defense while a belt and gloves will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor offers a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it may reduce its value.
The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading in addition to their relative values. This means that a change from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining 3% of attack damage. However, the 3% doesn't mean that it will hit for 3 fewer times as it is an absolute statistic.
A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by circular arrows within the menu for items. This will reroll the item and change its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's level or bind to account status.
Armor
Adding a few upgrades to your armor can make an enormous difference in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets can offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poisons fire, magic, and other. This can make it easier to navigate difficult terrains. In general, the greater defense you can offer your character, the more health you'll receive from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.
To upgrade your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four fountains in all, and each requires you to complete a special side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've done the main side quest and completed the fountain in question and then you can speak to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.
Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels and the amount of material and Rupees required for each level will differ. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and between five Rubies or ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade the next one. The Champion Leathers, for instance, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which will allow you to remain competitive in frigid conditions with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense so that you're able to survive a battle with your friends.
You can't upgrade your armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is best to focus on upgrading your armor for physical strength or spell power. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight The Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
You can also gain perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. It is generally recommended to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game. For example, the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have a few upgrades to the chest armor and helmets so that you can sneak around some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by a participant, produce an immediate effect for a short period of time. There are five types of potions, each with specific effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded, enhancing the effectiveness of their effects. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.
Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount of XP. This can be obtained through crafting them on a craft table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion as well as the item's rarity as well as Mark Level.
To upgrade a potion simply right-click on it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open a GUI in which you can select the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total XP you have.
Once a poton is upgraded, it will not degrade until you use it again or break the bottle within the container it is stored. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.
Version 1.7.2 introduced a few changes to the mechanics of potions. Splash potions, for example are now available with a time of that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item. The table of potion can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It is now able to be used in both Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be mixed in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron drains the contents and refills the bottle.
There are also lingering potions that are brewed using dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone to it. The potion table has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, for instance, the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket is a tiny and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an ornament or object that serves a function but isn't essential, like a Thimble. In certain cultures, a trinket is used to express friendship or affection between family members.
Trinkets can be upgraded by players as well as weapons and armor, as well as potions. These can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets, trinkets can be exchanged at will without losing their stats.
Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of each zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of rare trinkets.
Upgrading a trinket is an economical alternative to buying new ones. One can upgrade their trinket for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as the previous one, and will come with an additional 1% upgrade bonus.
Trinkets can be upgraded once the old ones are no longer useful, allowing a player to increase their power and value over time. They can be traded among players and are a viable alternative to gold.
In general players should make upgrades to their most important items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are first upgraded before their secondary gear and other pieces of equipment they won't replace in the near future (such as an earring or a cloak). When deciding which items to upgrade players should take into account their class's preferred statistics. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player, then they should upgrade their chest, helm and shoulders.
After they've become unusable, trinkets can be upgraded to a greater level. The new trinket has an additional 1percent bonus. However, a re-upgrade will destroy the old trinket, unless it is saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying a new one.
