Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are made available.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an item you have acquired, such as armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced with an identical item, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. It's a great way for players who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want to spend a lot of money. Additionally players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will come with a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Certain items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but because it allows players to gain the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
