Armor

Trinkets are items of equipment that provide an array of tiny but valuable benefits to your hero. They can be obtained in the areas of starting as loot, personal story rewards, from vendors, or by completing road interactions. They can also be crafted by jewelers and later found or purchased from the Trading Post.

The first trinkets that a player unlocks will be the cloak. It grants an unimportant but beneficial boost to movement speed and the ability to escape. After that, they can purchase amulets, rings and necklaces in the same fashion to how the player acquires weapons and armor. Each piece of equipment has a slot for an upgrade which can be universal or jewel. Universal upgrades offer fewer benefits and can be used in any kind of equipment while jewelry cannot be replaced or upgraded and is only compatible with certain kinds of trinkets.

These trinkets can provide additional bonuses and abilities that are active when the hero isn't fighting. This allows the hero to be more efficient when they are not active. It also helps compensate for the lack of a excellent slot in the talent tree or team which are usually filled by a hero's top stats.
