How to Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO
The Upgrade is one the most important features in Pokemon GO. It lets trainers transform Porygon into Porygon2 and allows them to progress in their Pokedex.
Although this item is rare, players can find it by spinning the photo disc at a Pokestop, or as a reward during some special occasions. But what exactly does this item actually do?
Components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons or gathering tools in order to confer an additional benefit. They are an essential component in the crafting process and can be gathered through salvaging or purchased from vendors. You can also find them as drops, either from enemies or item spheres. They can be used to upgrade armor or weapons through an upgrade slot.
To get the highest level of progress in the game, it is crucial to utilize upgrade components to gain the most experience gained when upgrading gear and weapons. The multiplier of experience of an upgraded item is increased by incorporating organic components, while mechanical components reduce it. The best combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component. This will enhance the experience you acquire and allow you to move on to the next level.
It's important to know how the upgrade system functions to get the most out of your upgrades. The system keeps a running total of the item that you are upgrading. Each component has an multiplier of experience that can be negative or positive. When the total reaches an amount that is certain then it's reset to zero.
The amount of the experience gained by every upgrade component can be affected by the item's hidden rank and its multiplier of experience. This means that the higher-ranked items are more difficult to upgrade, while lower-ranked items are simpler to upgrade.
When a new upgrade to your hardware is installed, it's essential to carefully remove all existing connections and fasteners that hold the old component in place. Save them for later use in a parts tray for easy identification and secure storage. After the new hardware has been installed, re-connect any wires or cables and connect the power supply to the electrical power. Test the computer by turning it on. If everything is connected properly the computer should start normally. This is a crucial step to ensure that the new hardware is compatible with your existing systems and will work seamlessly.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be an excellent tool to enhance your gear however, you must be aware of how to use it. Each glyph comes with a range of values it can improve the substatus by, and higher-ranking Glyphs have higher-quality values. You can only upgrade a glyph once, so make sure you choose wisely. Glyphs are also only available once and disappear after you have used them on an item or artifact.
The most effective characters are those that improve the chance of rolling an affix with the desired level. They are usually found on the top weapons, armor, and accessories. They can also be found on the Paragon Board and are usually worth the extra effort, however they can be difficult to locate.
Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Chests, or purchased from the Trading Post. Certain glyphs are only used only once, while others remain in their original position. The latter are ideal for items that must be re-rolled often. The Glyph of Hope, for example, allows you to increase the probability of acquiring a certain symbol when you are enchanting items.
Certain glyphs can also be used to alter existing affixes. This is typically seen on boots, gloves, and belts, each is capable of holding four different affixes. The Glyph of Insight, for instance, changes the prefix into an experimental affix. This is a great tool if you want a high-quality affix in the specified slot or want to maximize damage output.
Once you've reached level 50, the nature of the game dramatically changes. Instead of having to rely on the campaign, you'll need to navigate the complicated Paragon Board, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds to ensure that your game is as perfect as you can get it.
The best glyphs will be those that match your character's type, such as the Exploit Glyph which increases damage against vulnerable enemies. Other useful glyphs include the Control Glyph, which boosts damage to enemies that are frozen, stunned or slowed. Each symbol has a radius and the radius increases as you upgrade it. This makes glyphs a great option to upgrade your gear late in the game.
Reroll tokens
A reroll token is an upgrade item that allows players to change one of the attributes of an item. This can be done within the item window by selecting an item, then pressing an green button that has circling arrows. The cost of a reroll is determined by the rarity of the item.
Reroll tokens can be found in the Mystery Box, as a rare drop from skulled creatures, or purchased from the Trader. You can also obtain them through Events Items or by receiving them from other players. They can be used for rerolling rings, armors, and weapons by increments of 2. Each token rerolls gives players the chance to roll for a new attribute that could be higher or lower than the previous one.
In addition being able to upgrade rerolls, the reroll token can also be used to recycle items. Recycling an item gives players a certain number of points, which are added to the gauge of level for the item, based on its rarity. This is a great method to get rid old, useless equipment which hasn't been upgraded.
Reroll tokens can be used to give new weapon characteristics. The player is able to accept or decline these traits. The player is able to offer up to six items at a time and the options expand as the item's rarity and level increases. This option is accessible through the Upgrade tab of the forge.
Reroll tokens can also be used to reroll an item's set bonus which is granted when three or more items from the same set are placed on the unit. The set bonus is only available to units belonging to the same class. It cannot be applied to other classes.
Other upgrades, like recipe items, can also be Rerolled. They are not available through the shop or rerolling, but are instead transferred to the non-droppable Pool when players select the Food Card that requires new ingredients or equipment. The reroll token can be used to reroll these extra bonuses, however the base stats (including all upgrades), and level will remain the same.
Leveling
In the game, players have the ability to level up equipment by using an item upgrade item. These items can be made by gathering the required ingredients from NPCs that can upgrade items found in major cities. When an item is upgraded, it will get an additional bonus to its base stats. Some affixes can also be modified. This could give a significant boost to an item's ilvl.
In the upper left corner in the upper-left corner, a blue icon will show up when an item has been upgraded. It will also display an amount of upgrades below its maximum level. A greater amount of upgrades will raise the item's maximum level. The player can upgrade the item as many times as they like. This will allow the player to reach gear breakpoints which boost the reroll probability of certain attachments.
Item upgrading provides players with the ability to improve the level of their weapons, helms, and armor. This process requires items, which can be exchanged at the upgrader NPC in exchange for currency. The upgrader will provide a preview of the item's new status, and will accept either Happy Stars or Happy Tickets to complete the upgrade. The item used to purchase materials will be gone. However the upgraded item will be able to keep Item EXP to upgrade it further.
Although there isn't a certain way to obtain an upgrade but it does have the lowest chance of being lost when spinning Pokestops and Gyms. Players can use an upgrade to transform the Porygon into the form of a Porygon2, who will consume the item.
The Upgrade is an exclusive evolution item in the Pokemon series, first introduced in Generation II. It's a transparent device filled with all kinds of information, manufactured by Silph Co. It is used to help certain Pokemon species evolve, and can be triggered when traded while holding the Link Cable or Porygon. It is a rare item, with a 1 percent chance of dropping each spin from Pokestops and Gyms. You can also get it by finishing the Upgrade Station Event.
