Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are upgrade elements that can be slotted into armor, weapons or trinkets to give a bonus. They are usually more expensive and require that the item be of the appropriate rank.
Items with very high requirements typically don't see much value in being upgraded. This is particularly the case for items that don't roll much like Eth titans.

Once you reach level 50 the action-RPG of Blizzard shifts from its streamlined campaign to the final game. This is when things really start to change, with players pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and brand new grinds to ensure that their class build is as robust as it can be.
Glyphs play an important part in this process. Glyphs' stats and affect radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are a variety of ways to acquire these upgrades, but the majority of players will be relying on the primary method of raiding Faction Crypts.
The Glyphs panel allows you to insert glyphs into your text by selecting the appropriate option from the menu on the left side of the screen. It initially displays glyphs in the font in which the cursor is placed however, you can also view the font in a different style or style, and you can limit the glyphs available to a subset by choosing one of the options below the Entire Font (for instance Punctuation shows only punctuation symbols). By moving your pointer over a glyph, you can find its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tool tip.
The Glyphs Panel will keep the track of your last 35 glyphs and show them under Recently Used in the first row (you must expand the panel in order that you can see all 35). You can also remove any glyph that is not listed by clicking it using the right-click or Control-click, and then selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also allows you to create a custom set of glyphs, which could be helpful if you frequently need to type certain types of text. This will save you the time of manually inserting each glyph every time you need it.
A custom glyph can have the maximum of 30 glyphs. This includes both the base name as well as its suffix. The glyphs in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z), lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9) and underscore (_). The glyphs that make up the suffix can include ligatures or contextual alternates, which are special variants that combine two or more characters into one visually unified glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanic that offers benefits on items, including additional stats. Upgrades come in types: rerolls or level up, as well as recycle. Each type comes with a distinct set extra bonuses for an item.
Reroll Tokens let players change the base power of an item and the number of upgrades it has as well as be used to reroll ring substats. This is useful when an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is less than what the player's expectations or if its current substats are not ideal.
Rerolling costs 1 token and resets the item's upgrades, but will keep the rarity, set and level unaltered. Leveling an item up increases its level and with each tier, the primary stat is increased by +3, and an additional stat randomly gets added to it. The level of an item is increased by 1 when you raise an item to the highest possible level.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that lets players purchase new Appliances, Ingredients and decorations for their restaurants. Blueprints are provided at the start of each Preparation Phase and appear as envelopes that can be opened by pressing the Grab. Each blueprint has a unique icon, with each category of upgradeable item having different icons:
Some recipes require specific appliances or ingredients, and these can be obtained by choosing the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Certain appliances and inputs are staples, meaning that they will not be available in the Shop or on rerolls while others have a higher chance of being available when an appropriate franchise card is selected at the Blueprint Desk. This is called the Staple Pool, and the items contained in it will remain in that pool for the duration of the run. The same goes for non-staple equipment. transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product that is made from recycled materials, you're not only helping the environment but also giving the item a new life. Most recycled products are sent back to the original manufacturer to be remade into an entirely new item. This is referred to as "closing the recycling loop."
If a person throws something in their recycling bin on the curb, it gets sent to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where it gets separated and sorted into its various components. Then, it is sold on to manufacturers who can re-make the item. Items that are usually transformed into new products include:
This process reduces the need to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to create something else. This reduces the damage caused to nature; fewer trees are chopped down and rivers are diverted and wild animals are forced to move. It also reduces the amount of pollution caused by dumping raw materials into our water, soil and air.
Recycled products help keep local businesses and jobs going, especially for those who specialize in recycling materials. This is due to the fact that demand for these products encourages businesses to join in this environmentally friendly effort.
A final reason to purchase recycled items is that they require less energy to make new items from recycled material than it does to make them from raw materials. This is because the manufacturing process of creating a brand new aluminum can takes 95 percent more energy than manufacturing of an identical aluminum can made from recycled material. This is why every bit counts.
Leveling
The majority of units can level-up, giving them extra XP every time they attack or get attacked. This can be used to increase the primary stat of the unit or unlock other upgrades in the unit's tree. Weapons are a great example, as they can improve their level and increase their damage and range.
Most levels have an arbitrary amount of levels to be reached, but this can differ from game to game. The use of materials or coins is the only way to level up. The majority of systems use both to increase the level of an item, but a few only make use of one or the other.
The issue of leveling can be a challenge in many games because it makes certain units too powerful, while other units can't be competitive with them. Limiting the amount of leveling players are allowed to do will force them to decide what they'd like to upgrade and the reason for it.
