The Importance of Upgrades in World of Warcraft

Upgrades are a new kind of item that provides a boost to your stats. They can be used to upgrade armor, trinkets and weapons.

To determine probabilities, item upgrades use a "upgrade pity". This system is designed to reduce odds of luck and offer a solid safety net when upgrading.

Armor

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade the level of their equipment for their trinkets, armor, and weapons. The upgrades are applied to the gear through a visit to an item upgrader NPC with appropriate currencies. The stats of an item are improved when upgrading it.

This NPC can be found in all major cities and is located in the city's corner square, near a teleporter point. The NPC can upgrade any weapon, armor, or trinket except for those that require a quest or crafting.

Note: The item used to upgrade your gear will be destroyed forever. There are no multiple upgrades applied to a piece of equipment; trying to apply an upgrade using one already applied will cause the previous upgrade to be overwritten.

Upgrade your equipment to increase the damage, your survival and your overall power. If you have Benthic gear that you acquired through the War Within Mythic Dungeon it will be at ilvl 385 and can be upgraded using [Prismatic manapearls[Prismatic manapearls]. Upgrades to your PvE equipment are account-wide. Upgrades to your PvP gear require a specific currency like [Valorstones] or [Harbinger Crests(Harbinger Crests). The amount of Valorstones needed to upgrade additional gear within an armor slot decreases following the first upgrade.

Weapons

Weapons are an important part of any successful character. They can be used to deter a murderous monster, kill an intruder, or compete in a target shooting contest. They can also be hung on the wall. Whatever way you decide on using a particular weapon, you should keep in mind that it is able to be upgraded and evolve with your playstyle over time.

You can upgrade weapons by visiting a blacksmith who has a Weapon workbench. It is located in the right-hand wing of the Roundtable Hold hub area, Blacksmith Hewg is a good choice to upgrade your primary weapon. Iji is a Smithing Master located in the northwestern region, "Road to the Manor" located in Liurna. Smithing Master Iji enhances armor and weapons.

In general upgrading a weapon will raise the level of its weapon by 5. However it is the case for Azerite weaponry (see below) and other weapons that are special the item's level increases by 15. A player is limited to one active upgrade at a given time. If you attempt to apply an upgrade to a weapon that has another upgrade applied the upgrade will fail and the weapon will revert to its original ilvl.

Trinkets

Trinkets are special items that provide a wide variety of Boosts. They can be upgraded just like other equipment, through direct interaction with the Item Upgrader.

Stardew Valley is the place where you will find an item upgrading tool. To use it, you need to first remove any armor or weapons that are equipped. The NPC will then appear with the red banner "Equiped" over his head.
