okay so apart from getting flowers there's not much else to do for the ceremony at the court house. Also as for the party usually in my culture the groom and his family bring gifts such as chocolates, candy, alcohol, etc. as well as like actual gifts like jewelry or other girly things. for example, my cousin Anna's party her gifts were in a beautiful box that had a purse, perfume, make up set, a white gold necklace, and discreetly hidden lingerie (the lingerie really isn't necessary) that was just part of the example.
so that's pretty much how that works. My family is very welcoming as well so they're excited to meet you guys. And I don't know if Matt has mentioned this but there will be a lot of food for dinner, so make sure to bring your appetites. I look forward to seeing you guys next week :)
