World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is a crucial part of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enhancements.
They also offer bonuses and improvements. They are available through the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. item upgrading adds one level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon
When the weapon is upgraded it will gain a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that influences other stats. Certain upgrade components come with aesthetic effects while others give additional attributes. These upgrades can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools, and they generally require that the equipment has an available upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. If a weapon piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, the item can be upgraded, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered through the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool for an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times based on the weapon's level.
Once the weapon has reached maximum upgrade, it can be rebuilt using a variety of different upgrade types to improve certain stats or add bonuses and effects. Many of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects differ based on the quality of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials are different: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
In general, it's best to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then you can increase your armour defense and finally, the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other gear. This will increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players increase the stats base of specific pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. In the majority of cases the armor will be upgraded to next level after an upgrade is applied. Most armor types are upgradeable, however certain items (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades increase the strength or defense of an item by just a little. However, some upgrade components can give significant enhancements to defense or strength, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.
In addition to increasing the defense of an item, certain upgrades also offer specific abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be very useful in combat. For item upgrades , they can boost attack speed or block. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, such as decreasing the amount of damage sustained while wearing armor or adding the chance to avoid attacks.
Depending on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item could require multiple tries. For example the case of a player wanting to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor with an initial defense range of 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this, they must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations holds an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. Certain armors provide a significant increase in the ability to reduce damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them very valuable for certain builds. There are many other ways to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, like using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger trait to decrease the total weight.
Potion
When you put a potion into a stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different effect tier, and is able to be repeated for more potencies.
The potions also get a custom color, which can be chosen by the player using /give. The color affects the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom potion color also applies to the effects of the potion's particle effects.
The water bottle, the mundane thick and awkward potions now have a fresh texture of brewing. Added potion of weakness and potion of healing in Creative inventory. There are lingering potions available that can be made with splash potions or dragon breath, and a thick potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4 hours). Problems related to this update can be tracked on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive piece of jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag that is used to identify a vessel's yard that is lateen. It could also refer to an gilded trinket connected to the mast of a vessel.
This bizarre trinket appears to be influencing the denizens of this maze, making them more common. At the moment, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more popular and gives each floor an X% chance to contain an ebony mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to alter the dungeon's environment and increase the likelihood of generating grass and water. This trinket, at its current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It doesn't affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor, or other items that are created to help solve the dangers in rooms.
The item, which appears like eyes of a newt, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond simply reducing your field-of-view. This trinket, at the moment level, boosts the health benefits gained from drinking healing potions and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within Y tile. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you've completed the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters, and in chests and crates. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you have a trinket which requires upgrading put it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will have an effect on the trinket that is random, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reforge the Trinket multiple times as often as you like, but it will always have an effect that is different from the one you had when you first made it.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
