What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gaming benefit other than making it easier to find and buy upgrades.

Certain boosts can only be used in certain builds (such the Whistan's Shield in FB Sorcs) While others are beneficial to collectors.

Certain items come with inherent boo, which is not beneficial when upgraded, such as the Goldwrap which provides extra potion slots. They are often upgraded to add more value to a close-to-perfect or perfect item.

Another way to increase the chance of a successful upgrade is to use an item called Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item can be useful if your weapon or piece is nearing or has reached the maximum level of its tier. It will let you upgrade the equipment to the next level without worrying about it breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful the upgrade will be reversed to its previous state. This is usually a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. You should save an upgrade until you are nearing the maximum level for an item.
