69 ± 1.22, P = .03) and V1 to V3 (-4.38 ± 1.20, P less then 0.01). IPSS also significantly improved from V1 to V3 (3.48 ± 1.37, P = .01), as did SDS index (V1, V2 4.69 ± 1.89, P = 0.02), (V1, V3 5.43 ± 1.89, P less then .01). Patients with severe IIEF scores (group 1, n = 27) experienced significantly greater improvement in IIEF from V1 to V2 and V1 and V3, compared to those with mild-to-moderate IIEF scores. Both groups improved in SDS index from V1 to V2 and V1 to V3, with the greatest improvement between V1 and V3 for group 1 and V1 and V2 for group 2.Daily tadalafil 5 mg could be helpful for ED patients with depressive symptoms and improved LUTS and quality of life. Background Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury experiences about 200,000 isolated cases annually, and ACL reconstruction has become the gold standard for the restoration of stability and functionality. In view of that incorrect graft placement is a common cause of ACL reconstruction failure, it is critically important to ensure that the tibial and femoral tunnels are properly placed during the operation. Therefore, we intend to conduct a network meta-analysis to comparatively evaluate the clinical outcomes among the different surgical techniques in ACL reconstruction. Methods Embase, PubMed, and Cochrane Library will be searched through to retrieve the relevant literature up to April 2020. The outcomes include the International Knee Documentation Committee subjective/objective score, Lachman test, Lysholm score, laxity of knee joint, pivot-shift test, Tegner activity scale, and the number of adverse events. A Bayesian hierarchical framework will be used to evaluate the comparative efficacy among different fixation devices. Cochrane Q test and I statistics will be applied to evaluate the heterogeneity, and the Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool will be employed to evaluate the study quality and the risk of bias. Results The comparative risk-benefit profiles of different femoral drilling techniques will be evaluated based on the existing evidence, in order to summarize a prioritization regimen. Adavosertib cost Conclusion Findings from this network meta-analysis will provide useful reference to patients, surgeons, and guideline makers in the related fields. Registration Open Science Framework (OSF) Preregistration. April 20, 2020. osf.io/uzahs.An axial-volume scan with adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction-V (ASIR-V) is newly developed. Our goal was to identify the influence of axial-volume scan and ASIR-V on accuracy of automated nodule volumetry. An "adult' chest phantom containing various nodules was scanned using both helical and axial-volume modes at different dose settings using 256-slice CT. All CT scans were reconstructed using 30% and 50% blending of ASIR-V and filtered back projection. Automated nodule volumetry was performed using commercial software. The image noise, contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) were measured. The axial-volume scan reduced radiation dose by 19.7% compared with helical scan at all radiation dose settings without affecting the accuracy of nodule volumetric measurement (P = .375). Image noise, CNR, and SNR were not significantly different between two scan modes (all, P > .05).The use of axial-volume scan with ASIR-V achieved effective radiation dose reduction while preserving the accuracy of nodule volumetry. Background The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect and safety of Huangqi-Guizhi-Wuwu Decoction (HGWD) and Erxian Decoction (EXD) in the treatment of frozen shoulder (FS). Methods We will compressively search potential randomized controlled trials from electronic databases of MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, PsycINFO, Web of Science, Allied and Complementary Medicine Database, Google Scholar, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. We will search all of them from inception of each electronic database up to the present without language limitations. Two researchers will conduct selection of study, data extraction, and study quality evaluation independently. Study quality will be identified using Cochrane risk of bias tool. Statistical analysis will be performed using RevMan 5.3 software. Results This study will summarize high quality evidence of randomized controlled trials on exploring the effect and safety of HGWD and EXD in the treatment of FS. Conclusions The results of this study will provide helpful evidence of the effect and safety of HGWD and EXD in the treatment of FS to facilitate the clinical practice and guideline development. Study registration number INPLASY202040070.Colon ischemia (CI) is the most common ischemic disorder of the gastrointestinal tract. Although some markers of CI, such as procalcitonin and alkaline phosphatase, have been reported, few specific serum markers have been identified. We investigated whether serum stromal cell-derived factor-1 (SDF-1) is a specific marker of CI and clarified the relationship between serum SDF-1 level and CI according to a history of combined chronic cardiovascular disease (CVD).We measured SDF-1 level and other serological markers in 84 patients (control, n = 20; CI without chronic CVD, n = 21; chronic CVD without CI, n = 20; CI with chronic CVD, n = 23).Patients with CI were older than those without CI. There were more women in the CI groups than those without CI. At admission, SDF-1 level was significantly higher in patients having CI with chronic CVD (P 999.999; P less then .001].SDF-1 could be a useful early biomarker for the diagnosis of CI in patients with chronic CVD.Background A numerous studies have reported that obese patients (OP) are easily to have type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Although a variety of managements are available to treat such disorder, their efficacy is still limited. Previous studies have reported that laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSGT) can benefit OP with T2DM. However, no study specifically and systematically explores this topic. Thus, this study will assess the efficacy and complications of LSGT for the management of OP with T2DM. Methods The search strategy will be performed in the electronic databases from inception to the March 31, 2020 without limitations of language and publication time PUBMED, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Scopus, Web of Science, CINAHL, AMED, WANGFANG, VIP, and CNKI. Two authors will independently identify the articles, collect the data, and assess the risk of bias using Cochrane risk of bias tool. We will invite a third author to solve any differences between two authors. We will use RevMan 5.3 software to investigate the statistical analysis. Results This study will supply a high-quality synthesis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on the analysis of LSGT for the management of OP with T2DM. Conclusions This study will help to build proposals that aim at providing high quality RCTs in the management of LSGT in OP with T2DM. Systematic review registration INPLASY202040128.Background We designed this study to assess the effects and safety of Buyang-Huanwu Decoction (BYHWD) for the treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Methods Electronic databases of Cochrane Library, EMBASE, MEDLINE, CINAHL, PsycINFO, Scopus, Allied and Complementary Medicine Database, VIP Database, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure will be comprehensively and systematically searched from initial time of each electronic database to the present without limitations of language and publication status. Randomized controlled trials on BYHWD alone against any other interventions for the treatment of AIS will be included. All process of study selection, data collection, and methodological quality assessment will be independently undertaken by 2 investigators. Cochrane risk of bias tool and RevMan 5.3 software will be utilized for the performance of methodological quality assessment and statistical analysis, respectively. Results This study will summarize most recent high quality evidence on investigating the effects and safety of BYHWD alone against any other interventions for the treatment of patients with AIS. Conclusions The findings of this study will provide helpful evidence for the clinical practice for patients with AIS using BYHWD, as well as the relevant future researches.Study registration number INPLASY202040169.Background JLC has been widely applied as a promising adjunctive drug for GC. However, the exact effects and safety of JLC have yet to be systematically investigated. We aimed to summarize the efficacy and safety of JLC for the treatment of advanced GC through the meta-analysis, in order to provide scientific reference for the design of future clinical trials. Methods The protocol followed Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols. Relevant randomized controlled trials were searched from Cochrane Library, PubMed, Web of Science (WOS), Excerpt Medica Database (Embase), Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), China Scientific Journal Database (VIP), and Wanfang Database. INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM OF REGISTERED SYSTEMATIC REVIEW AND META-ANALYSIS PROTOCOLS (INPLASY) REGISTRATION NUMBER INPLASY202040105. URL https//inplasy.com/inplasy-2020-4-0105/.Background Epidemiology of type 2 diabetes (T2D) is affected by genetic and environmental factors. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) methylation as a kind of epigenetic mechanism has been reported to affect the pathogenesis of T2D. Both global DNA methylation and candidate genes were observed differentially methylated and identified changes. Peripheral blood biomarkers could have significant clinical utility due to the noninvasive operation and showed efficacy in measuring T2D-related DNA methylation. Moreover, due to the reversible feature of DNA methylation, it can be an effective therapy for T2D. Methods This study will be conducted according to the preferred reporting items for systematic review and meta-analysis protocols 2015 statement. The protocol of this systematic review and meta-analysis was registered on international platform of registered systematic review and meta-analysis protocols (No. 202040136).
