World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is a crucial aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and the ability to enchant.
They also provide bonuses and improvements. They can be purchased through the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is located on any item. upgrade item Cases gg adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon
When an item is upgraded, it will gain an initial damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that influences other stats. The weapon can also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that offer additional features or effects, and some have distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment is equipped with an upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. When a weapon or armor piece has an upgrade component in it, it can be upgraded however the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-end salvage tool on the item it self.
In addition to the standard upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded with an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier it can be done up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement it can be rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. These upgrades can all be applied simultaneously, and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area, and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage that a weapon inflicts.
In general, it's advisable to improve your weapon's damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armor defense, and then those secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon before any other gear, as this can increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of specific pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, like more damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor upgrades to the next level following an upgrade. This is the case for any type of armor, though certain types of armor cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades provide a small increase to an item's base defense or strength. However, some upgrade components can offer significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.
Certain upgrades grant special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, for instance granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have effect that are passive and can be useful like decreasing damage when wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the base defense between 67 and 77 and so on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do so it is necessary to visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations contains a powerful fair who can upgrade a piece of armor for you.
Despite popular belief, armor is not useless in The Division 2. The fact of the matter is that certain armors come with very substantial increases in poison or curse, fire, or magical damage reduction, making them extremely useful for certain builds. There are other methods to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger to reduce the total weight.
Potion
By putting a potion in a stand for brewing, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to unlock more tiers of potency.
The potions also get a custom color, which can be chosen by the player using the /give. This color will affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom potion color also applies to the effects of the particles in the potions.
The water bottle, a common thick and awkward potions now have a new texture of brewing. The potion of weakness was added to the healing potion in the Creative inventory. Addition of lingering potions, which can be made with splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Problems related to this update can be tracked on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket is a small inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace, ring or even a small flag used to identify a vessel's yard that is lateen. It can also be the trinket with gilded gold that is attached to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze and making them more popular. At its current level, this trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more common and gives every floor an X% chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost a moderate amount energy.
This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of generating grass and water. This trinket at the current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are generated to help solve danger rooms.
This item, which looks like a eyes of a nymph, seems to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond simply decreasing your field of view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking healing potion and wells of life by X% and gives you mind-sight on enemies within the Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters and chests and crates. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will create a random effect on the trinket, either increasing its duration or enhancing its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as many times as you like however it will always have an effect that is new.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by just a little.
